The only one I can listen to all the way through is XANADU. And possibly The Necromancer - because it is so damn weird.....lol

Wow, that should have been the #1 song in this thread. Good one, Transy.

Gotta agree on Camera Eye...but the rest??? Wow!! Just suprising.

I concur.
Even "The Camera eye" is a brilliant song.

It's a good song...but I don't see why people have been clamoring for it since '81. I'd be more inclined to hear Different Strings or Available Light live for the FIRST time.

For alot of these tunes, though, I don;t mind a good extended jam, so long as it rocks. One of my alltime favorites is the Outlaws GREEN GRASS AND HIGH TIDES and that bastard goes on for a good 20 minutes live...

Let's face it - most rock music is pointless (unless you're a bunch of self-important snobs like U2). That's a major part of the appeal for me; I can get totally lost in the melody or the rhythm, or listen in utter awe at the technical mastery, and generally not give a crap about what the song is about (if it's even about anything at all). The lyrics are really secondary to me.
