Dirty Dozen?

Postby X factor » Sat Jun 30, 2007 1:37 pm

Hey,ya'll... I got to thinking of it, and I'm not sure I've ever seen a complete list of the so- called "dirty Dozen". When thinking about it, I only came up with about 10 songs I am certain Journey feels they "have to play"every night.
So, here's the question. Is there an "official/unnofficial" dirty dozen (is it actually 12 songs or is that just a figure of speech) and if so , what are they?

Send Her My Love

Be Good To Yourself

These maybe? Not sure.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

AH- BGTY..my loathing of ROR prevented me from thinking about this one. I thought about WCN, but wasn't sure that made it into the set list alot. I haven't seen them post-Perry. Surely not SHML...have they played that one recently?

I'm not sure, I was grasping at straws there. I was looking through their Greatest Hits and those kind of jumped out at me.

Post your own Dirty Dozen!

Postby JW » Sat Jun 30, 2007 4:08 pm

Some I'd like to hear, in addition to the regulars

Edge Of The Blade (they actually threw this one in last year; Jeff was phenomenal)
Line Of Fire
The Eyes Of A Woman
Faith In The Heartland
La Raza Del Sol
People And Places
Suzanne
Keep On Runnin'
Back Talk (those opening drums would be killer live)
Of A Lifetime
Raised On Radio
All That Really Matters
JW
There are two kinds of music - rock, and roll.

Favorites: Def Leppard (Pyromania = Best album ever), Rush, Journey (minus the turmoil), Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Night Ranger, Live, Collective Soul
JW
Radio Waves

Yo Lar! I like the fact that you have "Suzanne" on there. That was hands down my favorite ROR tune when it first came out.

I think more times than not they play Only The Young instead of Send Her My Love.

I was looking at my bootlegs and you are right. They don't always play Only The Young, but it shows up more than Send Her My Love for sure.

Agreed...it always seemed a bit rushed on that ROR tour.
