I looked at my drink on the computer table, the liquid started moving inside the glass from the incoming wildebeast stampede. As they got closer my drink began spilling over the sides of my glass onto my keyboard from all of the hooves hitting the ground at once.

Thanks for the laugh. Way to paint a picture, chf!

I'm hoping someone over at the official journey website rings the dinner bell soon so we can get back to normal here.

To be fair, from pics that I've seen, I don't think the percentage of fatties here is much, if any, different from those already here.

I'm a bigger fan of Henry Blake BUT one of my favorite Col Potter lines is when Radar gets him a horse and brings it into his office. Col Potter is speechless and walks around the horse admiring how beautiful it is. As he swings around the horse hind quarters he slips in a patty and nearly goes down. Frank Burns says, "That's disgusting." and Col Potter replies, "To me that's like a tip-toe through the tulips."

Yeah. Even after it jumped the shark it still had a lot of great lines.

I love Chris Rock's bit when OJ was acquitted. Something like, "You never saw so many black people happy and so many white people mad. There haven't been that many angry white people since they cancelled M*A*S*H."

Much in line with Deano's relentless degrading of BT as "Fat Talk". Always thought that was funny.

My 'Only' problem with the BTers migrating here
is the fact that most of them don't
use the same "Screen-Name" here as they do
there and it makes it hard to know who you may be
interacting with...

Why not just use the same screen-names?
By hiding behind different names, there tends
to be a preception that the person has an agenda
or wants to just stir some slop up...

Aside from that, I'm glad some BT folks made it here...
I'm sure it feels good to them to be able to vent
a bit in a more colorful manner than previously allowed :)
Welcome to Terminus... You hungry?

It's because journeymusic.com shut down all operations except the store. BT included.

The real question is, why did they really shut down their site?

have you ever been to a bands web site that had a really cool bio and history of their band,, past and
current members? its really nice when the current members pay respect to the folks that helped them
get to where they are now.. , the official site is embarrassing, wonder why?hmmmmmm...

Toto's site, www.toto99.com, does a good job of giving history and information about past members.

uhhh,, thats what im talking about TJ,, wow! ,, tributes to members, downloadable mp3s.. thats the entire band ..

Right. Just giving an example. I can understand a band of high school students having a crappy website. A band that has sold 65 million units it seems ought to have a pretty detailed site. Do you think it has to do with contractual agreements with former members, Sony, etc.? that keeps it so basic?

i think its simple , the band just doesnt want to deal with the negative feedback,, but sony may be torturing them some,, when JEFF first joined, OR WAS ASKED to join and become a member,  , he created a killer myspace for the band,, it was gone with in a week,, NO POSITIVE promotion of this once known killer band.. and for heavens sake,, keep moving forward , the past is the past,, weve grown since then .. (typed with intense sarcasim)

I didn't see the myspace site, but did see a big picture of JSS and link to his site on the Journey site when he first joined. I thought it was odd, since none of the other guys in the band had links to their own sites with the same splash as his. Then, a couple of weeks later, the big JSS splash was gone with no explanation. Next thing you know, he is out of the band.

I have looked at his site and it is much more impressive than anything from the Journey site over the years. Seems like the other guys in the band thought JSS was getting too much attention for such little time in the band.
