Please be safe.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Wouldn't it be sad if we were unable to celebrate Independence Day as we always do?

Please.. everyone take a couple moments out of the day and remember what the day is all about and understand the sacrifices that took place to guarantee our freedom!

America did not just happen.

Happy 4th of July to all Americans!

No fireworks here (except for the sky above the US Embassy),but a barbecue-swimming-outdoor fun lazy weekend is in sight.

Stay safe everyone,enjoy the 4th! :D

Quite frankly, if we keep walking down the road we're on, I'd say, within the next ten years that will be a distinct possibility. Ever hear of the North American Union?

Unfortunately, there is a big underground push to make that happen. That's the major force behind the super highway they are trying to build from Mexico to Canada. A lot of it is being done behind the scenes.

I'm sure stubs would work and the explosion will cauterize the ends so that no blood gets on the keyboard.

Drive safely- and don't burn off any major body parts
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, wine and chocolate in hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "what a ride!"

Me TOO!

Here was what it looked like yesterday outside my apartment. Usually you can't even see the creek.

That's what the Guadalupe looks like. They were going to have the big fireworks show there tonight, but the park is floating away.

The City of Houston is SO stubborn they are holding the fireworks here "sunny or stormy". They did move the stage set-up, but otherwise - full steam ahead.
