It's a live show from 1979.

The First Part Of The.....what? :?

I didn't know there were any official or authorized LIVE soundboard pressings from the Evolution tour? What's the track listing or where do I find it? I don't read German.

The search by Google brings some other links to this new CD, but the only thing you can see there is the price for it.
If i know more i will tell you.

A saw the same product on Amazon UK a couple of months ago and it was revealed that the CD is an unauthorised sound-desk recording of a show in Denver in 1979.

Pretty sure someone posted that Journey's management was trying to get a cease and desist order against the label offering it for sale.

So I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

If it's the same one I have, that Denver show is great. Isn't that the one where at the end Perry goes "Thanks! Next time we come, we'll bring more joints" or something like that? I tend to get my shows mixed up because I've heard so many of them.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

I believe it was supposed to read "The First Part Of The Journey". However, the brilliant minds that were trying to sell a boot as a legit release in the first place reversed the title and artist names on the CD cover so it read "Journey, The First Part Of The..." Idiots.
