How many of you were banned from Journey Back Talk Forums?

I hold the record for most posts getting locked at Backtalk since 2001.

As far as Banned, i was banned from alyssa milano's website for saying I was her brother. Can you believe that shit?? I mean we look identical, we even use the same nail polish !
When I called my sister she denied having anything to do with it !

I wrote her off, she can have her fame and Charmed !

Dude, in order to hold that record, you must have had to be on there far too long. Those people are fucked up, and that Board is downright awful.

I was banned my 1st day,3rd post

and then allowed to post the next day.
(Kinda like I was banned here the 1st day too, 4th post and allowed back the next day)

So basically If you ignore me on the 1st day on a forum, You could tolerate me better afterwards ... :roll:

Yep, I was a member there before I discovered MR. Probably a member for 2 years and had like 32 posts. I've been a member here since December and have almost 2000 posts. I'm not hooked.

Yep, I'm with you. I signed up the day they opened and quickly figured out it was not an open thought forum. I'm not sure how many posts I have there in last 10 years or so but I'm guessing less than 10. Too bad I can't find out now as they are tits up. :lol:

After about 1/2 way through the first paragraph, the word TOWANDA smashed me over the head like a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken. I almost forgot about this but it has her drivel all over it.

If I remember correctly.....

"The Towanda Incident" was post Strangegrey and Skylorde @ BackTalk. Allen Craft was king and Towanda rubbed Allen the wrong way...kinda like a belt sander full speed on your face.

One thing led to another, Towanda accused Allen of hiring Borg operatives to infect her computer with a virus thus crashing her hard drive, she threatened to sue, yadda yadda yadda.

As I said, details are sketchy but this is the jist of it

. The term "Borg" sticks out for some reason, I may not have used it in proper context but it was something like that.

Towanda was around before Sky's forum became part of the official site. '97-98...something like that.

I too am one of the fossils that have been around for a looong time - not really that old, just got into the internet just when message boards were getting popular. I remember subscribing to Monkers board when I believe it was run through FTP (maybe early 1995) - is that correct Monker? Maybe not, but I know that it was early stage and in the beginning would elicit about 4-5 messages a day. About as many as elicited here in 1 second!

Regarding Towanda, the main thing I remember about her was she talked up this website she was creating and that she had been working on it for years (she states 10 years in the message that Skylord referenced). However, when it came out, it looked like it has been thrown together in a few days at most. Her site is still up (thanks Skylord for the trip back in time) but does not appear to be active.

Regarding Meanie, is he on this board?
