These are the ones that I listen to pretty often.

JOURNEY - Live in Houston '81 & Captured (then the Alpine Valley show from '81 and Chicago '79)
HEART - Rock The House Live ('91)
TOTO - Absolutely Live (destroyed from so much playing... )

BELA FLECK & THE FLECKTONES - Live Art (a mindblowing show)
DREAM THEATER - Live at the Marquee
BRYAN ADAMS - MTV Unplugged
JOE SATRIANI - Live In San Francisco
GRAND FUNK RAILROAD - The '71 Live Tour

There are more, but cannot remember now,I'll have to refresh my memory by looking through them.

What?

It's very surprising. I'm glad you are so diverse. I'm a very myopic person musically.

It's true,I love all kinds of music, never refuse to give a listen to any genre.
I don't even know where to put Bela Fleck,tho...Strange beautiful music.Ever heard it?

Not that I can recall. It sounds very 50's early 60's by the name of the group.

Bela Fleck is an amazing banjo player.
Actually, this live album I have and like so much is a double CD released in 1996.Haven't kept up with them lately, but I believe they are still in business.
They are bluegrass, but they went beyond that genre,imo...
I'll upload a song for you to hear, for fun. :)

I can find a sample somewhere, don't go to any trouble. Bluegrass doesn't do much for me. Thanks for the thought though.

I'd fuck that woman until my brain melts and starts running down my nose!!

If you find her hot, you should rent the uncensored version of "Monster's ball". 8)

That album is about as "live" as a Britney Spears concert. It's a solid overview of Macca's solo career up to that point, but it's common knowledge virtually the entire thing was recorded in the studio.

I did grow up with McCartney's Tripping The Live Fantastic album, an equally slick CD but quite enjoyable.

I do really love live albums in general though...although I have more bootlegs than actual live CD's...at least I know the boots are real, legitimate live recordings. :)

The album cover on that one sucks big time but the music is great and, you're right, that version of "Golden Country" destroys the studio version.

I've heard the same about Yes' "Keys to Ascension" but I still love it. I just basically consider those tracks to be studio tracks with crowd enhancement.

That was fairly commonplace with alot of those old live LPS. KISS ALIVE I and II were both HEAVILY doctored, but I still love em...

I listened to it, and it's pretty damn good. That doesn't sound like Bluegrass to me. They have great sound.

Well, they're kinda labeled as bluegrass, but like I said,it's much more there...Maybe a touch of bluegrass, but it gets lost among the other styles/sounds.
The bass player is a nutty guy,LOL...I've seen a few clips with them and I was  ed

They are definitely dancing in the jazzy end of bluegrass there. That's not at all what I expected. It was very refreshing.
