i had this car 5 years from 2001-2006.i had two kids and had to get a minivan.i miss my 1986 iroc-z28

Did it have a 5.7 or was it a sissy model with a 5.0? The 5.7 liter engine was FAST. Those cars kicked ass.

have not given it up, but my dad as a **birthday present** to me back in 2000 **
gave** me his 1974 914 porsche, he did not want to deal with it when
he turned 73... the color is red of course, its in GREAT near perfect
conidtion, (except for the engine) new paint job done in 1989
been kept in storage, etc, EIGHT TRACK TAPE inside, which
I am going to upgrade the stero system after engine work
gets completed. I have finally the money to get it back running.

I will not give this baby up...

I REALLY miss my 91 Subaru Legacy piece of shit... but before my Jeep all I had were paid-for clunkers, Subaru, Plymouth, Kia, so I ran them all into the ground. Literally... that "paid-for" part... I miss it!!

I had an 1996 Dodge Neon that was pretty peppy for a 4-cylinder. It was actually a sporty looking car in its day. The head gasket blew and I traded it in for a Nissan Sentra the day after I had gotten it fixed.

Of course, I have an '06 Mustang that I am NOT getting rid of, even if I have to sleep in the car! :lol:

I'll check back in with ya when I get married and have kids though....hahaha!!

Mine was originally white. I bought it for $800! :shock:

Then started injecting money to it until it turned into the sexiest bitch out there.

Stripped the vinyl on the top, painted it pearlescent white, Center Line wheels. It was a 302, so it was powerful, yet easy on the gas-chugging.

Fuck, even the dashboard clock worked!

Then some idiot ran off a red light with his truck and hit me dead center. If I was driving a Nissan, I'd be dead. The hit even threw me away against another car that was totalled by the crash. Dashboard split in two.

I will never get over that car.

My uncle had a '72 GMC Sprint ... it had been completely restored but customized paint, shadowed skulls at the front quarter panels, with ghostflames down the side. When you opened up the hood it had Freddy Krueger on the underside of the hood. The block was huge, but I can't remember the size... like it mattered. It ran like fuck, and everything in there was chrome... down to the alternator, bolts, intake...

I still have my black '95 Formula special ordered from the factory. She's loaded with the 5.7 275 hp LT1 engine and 6 speed manual transmission. I do 75 on the highway only turnin' 1500 RPM's.
My wife suggested selling it. But I told her no way I'm giving it to my boy when he's old enough. And that won't be a good 20 years from now

Please no snickering allowed ! I miss my '57 Chev Belair. My friend recently took us for a ride in his '57 black, Chev Belair,stick with silver V's & skirts. I haven't been waved to so much since high school. Next was my datemobile. That was my husbands '60 olds 98 convertible. Now the best was our '27 model T maroon convertible. One day as we turned onto our street the car left a trail of parts on the street, but we did make it to our driveway about 8 houses ahead. I never saw him move so fast. The engine kind of reminded me of a lawn mower engine. I think it would go 40 mph.

LMAO!! I remember how popular those Cragar wheels were. Along with the Pioneer Super Tuner with Jensen triaxle speakers, and the Hurst shift knob. Those were good days.

Hell, yeah. If you didn't own a muscle car, it would be a 4WD with roll bar, KC Headlighters, and you couldn't see the paint color for the mud. My little sister had to climb a ladder to get into her truck. ha, ha.
