I was at college in 1992, working at the school arena, and he played there. I was security and I mosied down to soundcheck and basically hung out with him for 2 hours. He is a small little shit, but extremely friendly. I got fired, but of course I didn't give a shit either. Told my boss to" eat the corn out of my shit" and BA actually laughed out loud.

Yeah,everyone says BA is a very nice,approachable guy.

Back to the concert...BA didn't play Dallas in 1988.Seriously.The entire '88 tour was in Europe,no US dates.So I don't think you have a Dallas '88 show.Maybe Dallas 1987...He played there in August '87 on the "Into The Fire Tour".I looked up the tour schedule on his site.
If your video footage doesn't have clear credits to confirm the Dallas date,it means you're watching Wembley '92.

There's a great time and place somewhere in our past.Call it "Home Again".


I heard this song when I was 17,it was Summer and I remember playing the whole album over and over again,until the tape broke.I was so pissed! That was one of my dearest audio cassettes I had! Native Son,Victim of Love and Home Again were my favorite tracks.Still are.
I got the album back and the next year I drove my first car and I remember having a blast driving and singing "He's a rebe-eeeel! Just a rebe-el!"

Speaking of one of the songs from the thread title,Run To You,I've watched this clip from Wembley on YouTube,and besides marveling at that fantastic crowd,I couldn't help thinking how much it reminded me of the opening part of "Send Her My Love" - the recording which is on Journey's GHDVD...

Yeah I suppose. But Run To You is a better song, much as I love SHML, I'm sick of it. I could listen to Run To You forever & never ever get sick of it.
