Chalfant performing with Journey

Postby cscott » Sun Jul 15, 2007 2:51 pm

I know Kevin Chalfnat did a few shows with Journey - I believe most of them were private events. Has anybody ever seen any video footage of these shows? Any idea where one could find such a thing?

I'd love to hear that as well. If you figure anything out, I have a left nut on the trading table.

I have no idea, but like you, I think that would be something to see.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

There are some pictures now on Kevin's myspace page he has included, there shot from a distance but they make for interesting viewing.I spoke to Kevin a week or so ago and we talked about his time helping Journey out and he said he had never rehearsed so hard for a gig as that one.By all accounts he even wrote some stuff with the guys which he finally may release! Check out the full interview in the upcoming issue of Fireworks, which includes an interview with Tommy Denander were upon he talks about working with Steve Perry! :)

How he WANTS to work with Perry right?
I don't believe that has actually happened as yet.

Did he mention anything in regards to being selected as their new lead vocalist? Has he spoken to the guys about it or possibly auditioned for the gig?
