That's true and usually I too avoid comparing the big names.Ultimately,it's about personal preferences.

His voice is a fraction of what it used to be, not to mention he looks like he's been hanging out in Meth houses. As for Springsteen, the dude has always sounded constipated while singing. Moonie, the two creeps you picked should be used for target practice at Fort Bragg.

Journey would OPEN for BA if they toured again. Scoreboard. St John, you are full of shit. BA does not tune down a full step while playing live.

Don't really care if it's down a sixteenth of a step, it doesn't sound nearly as good as the original. And I meant to say a half to a step, not 1 to 2. I'm not full of shit, never have been. That's your department.

You jock Perry and he has nothing left in his tank...you say he can sing but he can't. So who exactly is full of shit? Then you go bust BA's balls...who by the way sounds as good as he always has.
Fuck you Dan.

You really have fallen off the face of the Earth haven't you?
You have been saying forever that Perry was returning, and that he sounded awesome. What? This fuckin Guff thing is a total studio play...it does not show him to "be back" or that he "still has it." What a load of shit. He is done.
Now, onto BA. You didn't bust his balls?St John wrote:before the sappy, tear-jerking, sackless ballad train hit town. Everything I Do and Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman are two of the most commerciallly scripted ballads that lack artistry
The "wimpy pussy ballads Everything I Do and Have You really Ever Loved a Woman were written for movies. By the way, they were both huge hits, one being the biggest hit song of all time. Excuse the man for writing number one songs. Perhaps next time he can writhe Kiss Me Soflty that no one will hear.
And oh yeah, he does sound as good as ever, in fact, the band is better than ever.

2) Kiss Me Softly is sung by a guy YOU said was part of an album (Generations) that was better than Escape. If anyone's crediblity is gone , it's YOURS. With ears like that it's no wonder you think Bryan Adams sounds as good as ever.

I said Generations was better than Escape? Please show me this. Not that I wasn't caught up in the moment of Gens, but please do show me this.
By the way, Everything I Do is in fact the number one song of all time(although some will argue Celine dions My Heart Still Goes On is equal.
Now please show me where I said Generations is better than Escape. I said Frontiers is better but do not recall saying Gens was better.

Did you hear him sing with David Pack in '04 I think it was? Not bad there either, but I think his Guff effort is more powerful vocally from him.
Saint John wrote:From what I heard from the Guff song, which wasn't as much as I'd hoped for, he sounds very much the same as the TBF era. Perhaps stronger in range, albeit a lower, raspier one.

He's going backwards. I thought his voice was better on TBF than FTLOSM and better on the Guff tune in '06 than the Pack tune in '04.

I was SOOOOOOOOOOOO wrong there....but in my defense, I didn't know what was happening.
Point to you on this one, but in all hoesty, I might have been hammered to say Generations was better than escape. I did tell Neal he owed me 30 dollars for the shit that is Arrrival, 13 and Gens...he laughed.

Don't think for a second that I was gonna HOLD you to that review. Just had to remind you of it.Though it was bad, really bad, we all do it. My buddy still taunts me for saying the Spurs would be nuts to take Tim Duncan over Ron Mercer. He fucks with me all the time. I hate it.
