I know WHY it's used. It just sounds really stupid. Yes, "brutha" sounds stupid, too.

I know. I know. I'M annoying sometimes, too. I admit it.

People who think "Perry" is an adjective or a verb. "Perry on!" Bite me.
"Have a Perry good day!" Kiss my ass.
If it's December and you write "Perry Christmas", I'm creating voo-doo dolls of you and sticking giant pins in it.
I think I did that once as a joke, but you know, even as a joke it isn't funny.

It's shit like that which makes people use words like 'loon' and make endless fun of the rest of us.

Yo! bjg - it's ok -open up - tell us how you really feel, sistah!!

I am not the originator universally but I'll take the rap (for this forum anyway)

I've been calling other girls, who loved Jeff and Soul SirkUS, 'sistah' since Soul SirkUS came out. short for SOUL sistah.

and Jeff knows that he has always been my soul brothah.

Platitudes. That annoys me more than anything. Ex:

"This too shall pass."

"What doesnt kill u makes u stronger."

"Every cloud has a silver lining."

"Things can only get better."

For the record, I LOVE Niggy's "True dat" tho :-)

Oh, oh seriously, I can't stand these type of mediocre statements, they are so canned. Especially when you are going through something real.
and how 'bout..."it'll all be okay", because it might not be. Not a word but I also can't stand when someone says..."I've been so busy" and then they proceed to tell you all they've been doing or need to do=hello, everyone is busy, everyone has stuff to fill their time.

How about when you first meeting a person, or maybe you see someone you haven't seen in a very long time, and it's at a funeral or visiting someone in a hospital or some sort of very unfortunate occasion... what do people ALWAYS say?...

Nice to see you again... or good to meet you...

WISH IT WERE UNDER BETTER CIRCUMSTANCES.

Ya know, that pretty much goes without saying, doesn't it?!?!
Who would ever greet someone by saying, "Hey, haven't seen you in awhile!! Thank god Aunt Phyllis died, or we wouldn't be getting together!! Let's go get a beer!" (well, unless possibly Aunt Phyllis was a raving bitch, but really, even then...)

if you will notice though ,, folks only say this AFTER they catch themselves smiling and feel
guilty cause they hear someone else is in pain.. 8) funeral are sometimes the only time you can tell
chicks how hot they are AND then go hug them , and they say thanks,, its about taking
advantage really.. but , we wish it were under better circumstances though ..

I hate the sound of all of that gangsta, yo-bonic bullshit regardless of the skin color of the person using it. I could really get on a soap box about it and the effects on the youth culture in this country. Image But I'll restrain myself. Image

me all broom bound, especially when my 11 year old says it repeatedly
around his friends.

Personally, I can't stand any of the various ghetto/hiphop abuses of standard English:

"Ah'ight"
"Axe" (instead of ask)
"My bad"

basically, Anything that comes out of Chris Rock's mouth when he's trying to sound black...

Well, I've lost some respect for the dictionary as an authority this week with their willingness to include made-up words like "ginormous."

"Dude" has got to be the most annoying word in the English language. Why must it be used at least twice in every sentence when two or more men are addressing each other?

I hate when someone says that it is good to see Perry out & about. Neal was right when he said "some fans need to-get a life". Perry goes out everyday of his life. Geez, it sounds like some are shocked that he opens his front door. The best one is everytime Jon and Neal expain their low ,slovenly actions ,you know the statement is coming that says & I cringe" We wish him well". Barf ,barf, and more barf !

Yeah, when my daughter says "Oh, that's so gay." She could be referring to the fact that the plastic tore as she was trying to remove it from a slice of cheese.

YEP! my daughter Cat comes out with that one too...she also says 'that is tight' if I tell her there is something she can't do... and I can't stand to hear it when she's with all of her friends and instead of saying somthing along the lines of 'was that comment meant for me?'.. if someone has a beef with them, they say 'are you dissin?' me..that one gets right up my nose..
