Good question Susie. As a regular member of this forum I get sucked into all kinds of time-wasting nonsense....

By the way, when was the last time Friga wrote a hit?

Maybe they didnt have to turn it down...

So they took the cash...fired JSS...and ran off with the swag?

Matthew, you need help getting over this obsession with JC.
Just remember his 'masculine' red piano [so masculine that Dame Elton John has an identical one] and never forget his dreadful air keyboard playing in that gloriously awful video for Separate Ways.

Does that help knock his halo off balance a little?

Seriously, if Neal was such close buddies with JSS then shouldn't he have been the one to tell him he was out? :?

I'm butting in here.

He's not obsessed with Cain, it seems to me he is just saying Cain is not Vlad The Impaler or Genghis Kahn or Satan.

Nice butting...I think I can say that...?

Since I started this drama I want to make something perfectly clear: I'm challenging Matthew's logic/compariosn between JSS' time served and JC's contributions. I don't this is at all a fair nor proper comparison.

Only joking about your love for the whale. You know that.
But the bad miming to an invisible keyboard is an unforgiveable offence in Judge Susie P's Court!

The phone call business still rankles with me, as buddies maybe Neal SHOULD have called JSS - but, if past rumours are true, it appears that JC is usually the one to call people when stuff needs to be sorted out. So maybe there was an unwritten rule somewhere along the line that such calls are not Neal's job? However, if I were in this situation, I would have liked to have received calls from all four of the guys in the Band I had just been on tour with.
It's just the gentlemanly thing to do IMO.

The other one on Neal's back porch/veranda or whatever is a cool picture. I don't think Cain looks that queer on the sofa, except maybe for the leg-cross and the fruitless attempt to be hip that was that soul patch on his chin.

Of course it is. Cain has been in the band for over a quarter of a century and therefore I have much stronger feelings of loyalty and affection toward him than I do to any of the johnny-come-latelies...

What's so outlandish about that?

Did he write it alone? (Answer: No -- normal people would answer that way anyway)

BTW that was 11 yrs ago dude. A LONG time.

Right. And it was a hit because of SP and the reunion buzz.

Well, according to your logic we ought to be giving Augeri and JSS a right pasting then....given that they have had zero hits....ever.

Um & that isn't obession? He wants MORE pix of his hero.

Does ur wife realize that u may be in the closet? :-)

No - I just fancied a laugh. And much as Cain is the misunderstood musical guru of this band....it can't be denied that he has always been comedy gold.

No - I'm saying I love Cain - as a musician - for the hits he wrote in the 80s and 90s - and I merely stated the fact that Cain had a hit single this year.

Also, that was just on the Adult Contemporary chart, not the Big Kahuna. Still pretty good, though, in my opinion even for a crap song.

Come on.

Unless the hits were in England it doesn't matter HOW many hits someone has over the rest of the continent.
