Deano- I listened to all you said about Perry, Uncle Joe and the entire situation. In fact ,many opinions were of interest. Even Perry said in a recent interview he was taking voice lessons to see what he had left. But ,Lora and Cyndy sounds like a good source. I'll ask my 8 ball and get back to ya if it looks promising.

What? I just lost ALL respect for u. These 2 men are LEGENDARY in their talents & body of work. They are also both extremely nice guys. Oh & they both look GREAT for their ages AND can still sing.

You lost all respect for me, huh? Whatever. It's what I think, nothing more. Your closeness to these guys obviously leaves you unable to give an honest review. I youtubed a boatload of 2006 and 2007 BA songs and they almost sound acoustic. I'm not ripping the guy, in fact I said he still sounds good, but it's obvious that he's protecting his voice. He can't "belt" it out like he once could. All you have to do is listen to hear he's holding back. And for the record, I am really fucking pissed about your "Respect" comment to me. I thought we were cool.

It's what u think, that's ur opinion. That doesn't make it fact. Ur username might be Saint John but that doesnt mean ur opinions are gospel! & yeah, it's hard to have respect for someone with shitty opinions who express them as if they were gospel.

Not nearly as retarded as wasting whole days on this forum talking about a washed-up band.

Fuck, it's only a handful of words, but I laugh at it everytime I scroll past...

ONLY on Melodicrock, would you find a quote about Springsteen having a dick in his ass. Too much. Almost as good as ST John's classic "Semen drenched raw asshole" referring to George Michael. It took me 2 minutes to type that because to me it is hysterical. Nice work. MRHOF Nominee.

You will NEVER hear me say a single bad word about either Cyndy or Lora, nor will I type a single bad sentence about them, that's how much I hold them in regard; however, I will argue this topic with them.

Draw your own conclusions Squirt.

What is indicative of me thinking that my opinions are gospel? Where did I say it was fact? My opinions are shitty? Because I say that BA doesn't sound as good as he did 15 fuckin' years ago (something I'd venture to bet HE would say) I have shitty opinions? If you can't have friends with differing opinions, so be it. I've never said an ill word about you Susie. I stuck up for you with your conflict with 13. I was cool enough to talk to on the phone, but you've lost all respect for me because I said BA is "still good" but not what he was 15 years ago? Whatever.

I worded that poorly. If you look back and find the thread, I said that you were both good people and I didn't want to see it get ugly. I was a "referee"and actually sided with no one. I think I may be regretting that now.

Hungover? No. Chill? No. You called into question my character as a person and I want to see where you stand on this. Please answer the questions, or I will assume that it is still your opinion that I have "shitty views" and that you "have lost all respect for me." If that is so, we are no longer "cool" and/or friends. I await your response.

Radio guys like Joe Benson and Bob Coburn are nothing but publicity agents, yes men and rah rah agents. You will never hear controversies like tape gate on their shows or them taking any positions. This is why Coburn always says stuff like "there's some great stuff on that album" or" that show was great" that's as controversial as they get. I would never dream of getting those bearded satin jacketed puppets involved in these type of discussions. I wouldn't even bring it up. It's pointless! Since when did they become investigative journalists? Bands like Journey are these radio men's salary. And if Perry's voice was in such great shape, we wouldn't hear him giving quotes like he did in the Newsweek interview. We also wouldn't hear from Friga that "it's not just his voice it's his body too." Most bands from the 80s have reunited and toured, Journey is one of the lone exceptions. (I'm talking about now, not TBF of 11 years ago.) The reason why not is what Steve gave away in this list:

Dan, u are taking things WAAAAAY too seriously here. I did not call ur character as a person into question when I said "I have lost all respect for u". It was an expression on a messageboard about ur criticism of BS & BA. Not a judgment of u as a person. U are reacting here like my friend when she has major PMS & I have to say everything VERY carefully. I will try to be VERY careful what I say to u from now on. Please chill!

I am sorry but I don't see what ur exact questions are or I would answer them. Do me a favor & call me w/them. Less chance of misunderstanding that way, ok?

Oh come on, that's not fair. Nora is a very sweet kind person. She is not in need of any psych drugs. She just loves Perry & wishes he'd sing again. Many of us do. Remember she was openminded enough to like Jeff w/Journey. That's a lot more than some of the real diehard loons.

That's all I needed to hear. Sometimes words can be misconstrued as you can't gauge tone through a written response. At any rate, all is cool. I have MSP too then. We all do. I think these little bits of backing vocals he does make it worse. Couldnt he just release ONE song on iTunes that he sings by himself? Just one. That's all. It would really help treat our disease.
