Whether you like it or not - and I'm still rip shit PO'd about the JSS thing - the 98% of the fans out there who don't know what's going on or don't care, are going to still go to the shows, and the promoters, if anything, will be more likely to back a Perry clone. You don't have to like it, but just be realistic, and objectively assess the situation grounded in reality, with a basic knowledge about the industry. They're not going to retire, and they're not going to suffer noticeable drop-offs in attendance.

The second is what I honestly feel should happen...We are old, washed up and besides we can't get SP back, we are going to retire - early 2008!
Journey was a "never was" before Perry and have been nothing but a "has been" since Perry decided to exit stage left. Schon and Cain are doing nothing but attempting to hold onto a dream, AT ANY COST! Someday after it's all officially over, they will come to the realization that the legacy of Journey was built, brick by brick, on the voice of Steve Perry! Without Perry's voice, nobody is showing up to listen to Cain tickle the ivories or Schon jam on his 6 string!
John from Boston

You are correct, that's why you can't leave Hugo out of the possibility of being offered the job, to much money to be made.

You just can't resist using your tiny brain to bring this topic down into the gutter, grow up and have an intelligent comment for a change.
