OT:MTV getting more and more dumber

Postby mikemarrs » Fri Jul 20, 2007 11:56 am

Comic book guru STAN LEE is working with PARIS HILTON on a new cartoon series for MTV. Details are sketchy at present but the Marvel comics superhero creator admits he's delighted with the project so far.
He tells TV Guide magazine, "She won't be your typical superhero."

LOL

Yeah, back when they had good shows like Headbangers Ball with Riki Rachtman. Those days are long gone, my friend. :(

Gawd. I used to respect Stan Lee.

Why the fuck would he agree to do a show with that disease infested whore is beyond me.

Anyone remember Electra Woman and Dyna Girl? Stan Lee could pair her up with Lindsay Lohan for that. They always seemed to have a bit of a sapphic relationship going on anyway, so why not??

what would their superpowers be? the ability to steal network news time from legitimate stories?

Good one. How about Lindsay's Firecrotch nickname becoming her superhero name? She could flash that thing (like she does quite often in reality) and render her archenemies blind. As for Paris, I guess she would only need to speak in order to thwart evildoers. That's hot!!

MTV is garbage. VH1 Classic is the only music station I ever watch (unless "I Love the '80's" is on VH1).

Actually, I'd go much earlier than that. I think they started going downhill about 1987. When they introduced non-music programming.

And of course when these people were no longer veejays:

i love VH1 Classic. It's the closest thing we've got to old school MTV. Always something good to be found on there.
