Tell me about it...

Must be like talking to the mirror sometimes....

Sorry it's a rub to you that me and him have the same gift of infalible clarity of thought, perception, and reason as they apply to all things Journey (though his gift does have a confoundning dead spot when it comes to ROR precluding him from reaching my level of clairvoyance).

If I were a renowned professional message board poster it would be, and I'd have a prolific output relative to Perry's musical output over the last decade. But thanks for the commendation for the quality of my posts.

Is there a job called "professional message board poster"? Even if it would,I guess it would be more important to contribute with something relevant rather than be a high figure nonsese babbler. You're not one of those, that's why I made that comparison.I know you got my point.

I definitely prefer Perry working when he is truly inspired, rather than marking his career with must-do material, only for the musical activity's sake.
Yes,just like you post less but interesting ,so is SP singing only when he has something to share with the listeners.

If I would tell you "Come on,post more often!" would you do it?LOL...

Deano's a pro...I hear he's having a hard time collecting paychecks, though.

If you think about it, if you post at work, you are getting paid for it. So that makes you a professional poster.

No, but I would release the occasional "I'm thinking about posting again" statement, go to the posting studio and hang out while others posted, collaborate on writing a couple of posts with '13 (Matt would've enjoyed those if only they'd been released).

The title of this thread is grammatically wrong. It should be "how things would have GONE if Journey continued post 1986"

Sorry, I couldn't resist it.

 Love it.

Now,what if you would have a terrible migrane and you couldn't post, because obviously, you wouldn't feel in the right mood?
You would take a break, right?I'm sure you'd come back on the board when the problem's gone.

What if you'd cut your hand and wouldn't be able to type? Then you come and announce that you will cease posting for a while until your hand heals...
Despite you being a pro poster and a long time contributer to the board, you would get an email from one of the Admins telling you that you are banned.
Wouldn't you be sick of that board and its owners?

I guess you'd find other boards to go to and hang out with new posters, but you wouldn't post as much as you'd want to,maybe because the scar on your hand still hurts,or maybe because there's not too much to say anymore...

However, even if you're not logging in too often or at all,you will always be known and recognized as the greatest poster in the history of the boards.

If I used a bogus migraine excuse...I shouldn't say that...if I declined to seek medical attention for a chronic migraine and would not let the board know when nor whether I ever intended to return or not then I would think the board was perfectly within their rights to continue without me. Is my migraine real or is it an excuse to cover the fact that my hands can no longer type the notes, I mean letters, that are in my head?

Well, you know how the Internet biz is...You never know what happens behind the screen.
Suppose the migrane is an excuse,ok...Suppose your fingers are tired. No wonder, you've been posting like a madman 5 days a week,9 months per year, for 10 years and made the board worldwide famous. You want to type at your own pace now.You can still type the letters, but your fingers have another rhythm now.Yet,the board would want you to type like you did 10 years ago. It's frustrating.

Despite all the gossip realted to your lack of posting,no one can take away your fame as the greatest poster of all.
The board still has your greatest posts archived... :)

Ok, supposing all this is true, why not admit that I'm retired because I can no longer post like I used to? Why keep people hoping that I might come back, am I so insecure in my greatness that I need people to keep looking for me to come back?
I'm getting a migraine...what was this thread about...
