is it too late at this point in time to make a huge splash and millions in revenue if they reform with steve perry?
If you look at Van Halen now, rumored to be doing amphitheaters and possibly some arenas with DLR back then yes it seems too late to make that kind of splash.
7 years ago VH rumors had them headlining stadiums.

I'm not much interested in seeing them without Gabriel.

Agree, though the perception is that the Genesis thing is more monsterous than VH.

It's worth it for the double-drum solo alone....

They do Los Endos now, even without Gabriel....Chester and Phil are masters. Peter never thrilled me. He was too interested in dressing up like flowers, huge bulbous things, and foxes....Genesis started, for me, in '76. Phil was much like SP - taking a band going NOWHERE, and taking them somewhere....But, I guess the Brits would've liked Genesis to stay the underground, cult band that they were. Go figure. They blast Phil, but at least they are still around.

Wow...Tommy Shaw really is a little chap, isn't he?
mikemarrs wrote:i saw styx when they toured for edge of the century in either 1990 or 1991.damn it i missed tommy shaw because he was with damn yankees then and not styx.tommy shaw gave styx a lot of the hardness.deyoung would have the band singing all ballads if he could.i like dennis but maybe its better that he isn't in styx.i think tommy shaw brings a lot more to styx than dennis deyoung.

or is it one of those instances where time has passed them by and attendance would be spotty in certain places?
if they did would steve perry be up to the task of doing the songs justice?
