Oh man. I just got home and finished downloading the rest of what you all shared so generously! It's like having a brand new Steve Perry album delivered right to me! I am thrilled! You guys rock. I shoulda been on this forum long time ago! Ol' Stevie sure got around. I heard very few of these and most I never knew existed.

{The Friga song sounds like something jazzy from the early 1960's. It had a vague similarity to the piano at the end of "Still She Cries", the difference being that "Still She Cries" has fantastic keyboards and the download sounds like it should be playing on a hokey old TV show. Friga is not one of my favorite people, but I have to give him credit for some pretty nice keyboard work with Journey. His solo stuff stank to high heaven - and I have one of the CDs to prove it.}

Seriously, glad ur here. It's pretty easy to burn stuff to CD if u have the right software. I use iTunes currently as it's compatible w/my iPod. But I used to like music match as it was pretty blondeproof (I'm blonde). I believe that got bought out by Yahoo now tho.

Did u discover Jeff Scott Soto during his tenure w/Journey? Many of us who love Perry have developed a huge love for Jeff as well. He's a fabulous songwriter & amazing singer who can sing just about anything. It's so cool to have someone else to enjoy, especially as he's still making music & touring. It took me forever to catch up on his back catalog alone!

I played it for some friends & had the same experience pretty much. They were convinced it could NOT be Perry, no way. "He sounds far too theatrical" they said. Ha ha!

The same friends didnt think the beginning of CBTM was him either. I was told Perry couldn't sing that low!
