TRUTH is not a word that should be used too often around here. It is not TRUTH, it's opinion. "Getting jumped on" is in the eye of the beholder as well. Some people think that they are getting jumped on when someone disagrees with them. Others can get called every name in the book, and still perceive it as a simple conversation. The problem with statements like truth, 100% 'anything', and others is that in this environment it is a person's PERCEPTION that dictates what is true to him or her. Sure, Dean knows more about Journey, JSS, and lots of other stuff here than I'll ever hope to know. But, he has no right to tell me what I can or should feel about things and that I'm wrong if I don't agree with him.

To my knowledge, Jeremey had nothing to do with JSS getting fired and until that it proven otherwise, I will support the guy. Yes Chalfant is more established than Jeremey, but that doesn't necessarily make him a better singer.

I just got done listening to his Journey covers album. Was not impressed in the least. All the songs were a step down.

I can't speak for past experiences cause I wasn't around here for any of them. I would think this is different though because of who is being discussed. I have EVERYTHING Chalfant ever released and I'm a huge and avid supporter of him, and will always be.

KC is getting up there in years, and as awesome as he is, he would struggle singing the Journey catalogue on a nightly basis.

The tone and timbre of his voice is more gravitated towards Augieri (though MUCH better) than Perry.

Jeremey, on the other hand, sounds EXACTLY like Perry when he wants to, and has a beautiful, stunning voice in his own right.

Then, they bring on Jeff and he fully saves their fucking asses last year. I do hope he was compensated well for that, BTW! Then they announce Jeff is the lead singer for Journey. Then they announce Jeff is fired of being lead singer for Journey before he even gets a chance to do ANYTHING AT ALL!
