Wake up, Susie...He was talking about the long coat JC wore with the paint-splattered effects, which is what the article he quoted is talking about.

Wake up little Davey. It says:

"Paint-splatter-effect shirts, t-shirts, bags, coats, boots and accessories"

What Friga wore was a hairdresser's smock!

I couldn't care less if it was a smock, coat, cape, rain slicker, or bed sheet, he looked gay as hell in it.

Or I just have better taste than u.

Anyone who prefers JSS singing voice over Mercury's is completely devoid of taste! Freddie was the best band frontman ever. Voice wise Perry and Mercury are 1 and 2 in my book. The ranking changes from day to day. :D

I've had TONS of gay hairdressers who have not only cut my hair but also highlighted & even lowlighted it for the perfect multi-tonal blonde effect I prefer. I like gay men working on my hair best. Don't they have gay male hairdressers in England? :-)

Yes we do, but they wouldn't be seen wearing an outfit like that!!!!!

I can't believe this thread is still going!!!!

Freddie was my second favorite for most of my life. Now, he shares that spot w/Jeff. If that means I'm devoid of taste in ur opinion, so be it. Some people prefer Jeff to Perry even, would u believe? What kind of taste do u rank them as having?

BTW when did ur opinion become the ONLY one to have?

Perry and Mercury are legends. Jeff is not!

I had one here in the US in the late 80s who wore a smock pretty similar to that one actually. He was really proud of it as he also painted on a canvas & he thought it captured both of his talents. Unfortunately AIDS took him in 90. What a shame. He was the best hairdressever I ever had.

I can't believe it's still going either. Guess we have nothing better to do :-)

Brad Delp claims the second spot as far as my favorite singers go. I wouldn't put Jeff above Freddie, but it's very close.

I was lucky enough to see Boston twice with Delp. Great singer.

One of my biggest musical regrets is not getting to a Boston show. Damn it.

I got to see them in 2003. Delp was very gracious and humble, introdocing Fran Cosmo as "the guy who hits all the high notes I can't hit anymore".

From all accounts, Boston's live sound wasn't all that fantastic early on but they'd certainly got it right by the time I saw them in 2003. Of course, they had up to 5 guitarists onstage at a time to recreate that famous "army of guitars" classic Boston guitar sound.

Both serious perfectionists too critical of their own work if u ask me.

Thank God both of those guys never worked together. We'd have been lucky for them to have completed so much as a demo from the 70s until now.
