in 2 weeks I will embark on my 6-month sabatical.
I am not sure if this site will be available to me thru
the base servers over there and I really want to be
able to keep in touch. Even though I am disgruntled
with this band right now, there are still MANY great people
and friends here that I don't want to lose touch with.
So here is my proposition:
If you are interested in hearing from me from time-to-time,
PM me your email addy. What I'll probably do is just
build a MR.Com Distro-List in Outlook and then send out
weekly emails with stories, updates, pictures...
Who knows, maybe this site will be open to me and
I won't need the email addys. But i want to be prepared in
case it isn't.
Also, a few of you generous souls have already been pinging me
about mailing addresses and care-package info.
Once in country, i will get a mailing address to you all and,
if you really want to, you can send whatever you want.
All I ask is, if you send anything, don't just think of me.
I'd rather have goodies to give to the "kids" working for
me that might not get much mail of their own...
But I WILL welcome any great music you wanna share
So, think on it and get back to me.
Like I said, I leave in 2 weeks and will be around
pretty steady until then but get an email addy to me
as soon as you can.
