The parade of bullshit lies regarding Perry's 'injury' in Hawaii didn't do it for you?
The countless number of NDAs that were signed by everyone connected to Journey didn't do it for you?
The only honest account from the one guy that DIDN'T sign an NDA didn't do it for you?
The VH1 BTM didn't smack you in the face with it?
The utterly awful Dead13 didn't do it for you?
Augeri getting tossed with the rest of the band Seeing, Hearing or Doing no evil didn't do it for you?
JSS getting the axe in the way that it happened didn't do it for you?
A tribute band singer being the band's last option didn't do it for you?

You forgot Robert Fleischman, Aynsley, Steve Smith, and Ross, and even Herbie.

This shouldn't be such a shocker.

Fleischman and Dunbar needed to go, Smitty and Valory, that was a mistake. Herbie, another mistake. You'll never find another manager that worked harder for the band than HH did. He's a crude fowl mouthed dude, but he did his job well. That and he only took an equal part of the pie. Azoff takes a much bigger chunk.[/quote]

So just what is a 'bigger chunk' of nothing?

Say what you want about Perry, I wouldn't crap on those early pre-Perry albums. There's some good stuff on there.

Soto All The Way wrote:Kinda like what Styx did when Dennis left huh? They've sucked and died ever since.....Your post makes no sense and lacks Journey knowledge.....I would have thought before you posted. Journey didn't die when Perry left. Nor did Styx when Dennis. Again, your post is fucking stupid. Go back to the Styx board and stay there.....

e-

Styx had in essence three frontmen, one goes, two remain, different senario to Journey you dumbfuck and by the way your knowledge is also lacking...STYX aren't dead  Go look at the Styx board also and you'll find I've only posted there twice in two years...this is where I post and regardless of whether you think I'm stupid, here I stay 'dumbfuck all the way'

As for the other comments about Perry not being Iconic, I find that extremely hard to believe! Without doubt on a world stage he doesn't have the status of Bono and Jagger but in the States he has to be a household name held right up there with the best. He didn't get called the Voice for nothin' He's ICONIC in my books and that's good enough for a stupid person like me.

True dat.

post corrected by Rick
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

In all honesty, Fleischman wasn't right for the band. Ansley would have eventually taken a 12 gauge at point blank from an angry father of a 12 year old....Steve Smith wants nothing to do with journey, as he makes far more money without them....and Ross is a wanker with zero balls....

Thanks for that.

Bogus notion. Name-wise he doesn't even have the recognition of David Lee Roth.

The name is "Journey."
