Unless Neal decides to pull an OJ or something, the name stays as is.

Besides, this is like asking Michael Jordan to change his name. Ridiculous! :lol:

I heard rumor that MJ's birth name was actually Miguel Jordankovich. He simplified it to Michael Jordan figuring he'd be able to sell more merchandise that way.

I stopped calling him "Niggy" on the boards after TNC mocked me for it :lol: Made me feel like a total nerd.

Well TNC has a point. :lol: It does lose it's 'cuteness' coming from a guy. Besides it's just one of those silly sounding words that gives me a giggle. :lol:

However, I can blame him for making some very stupid and un-wise decisions.

Back on subject though :lol: , I don't like the nic, but I can't imagine NIG being anyone else. That's who I've known him as for 4 or 5 years now. To me it doesn't have anything to do with Neal or with the man that I now know Niggy is, it's just his nic on MR. Image Gotta love him. :wink:


As weird as it sounds, it's really hard to change a screen name - it's like part of your identity after awhile. As an example, I've been Mistiejourney for about 10 years - started as an AOL name and then followed me to other places/forums, so even though I do not wish to support the band in any further endeavors, I still love the music and the memories I have so the name still feels right.

That's a long winded way of saying to NIG - keep the name. :D :D :D
