Those of you who are still hanging on to nothing will see the light soon enough.

Then why do you care to post about them? All of you who say they're done with Journey will still be posting here a year from now when they have a new singer.

Dude, I come here for about 5 minutes a day a couple or three times a week. I used to be here hours upon hours a day. Journey is a fucking loss. I am not interested in an "official tribute Journey." I guess you are. Enjoy the fakeness of it all.

How will it be any less of a "tribute" now than it was when Augeri was in the band? They played very few new songs in the eight years he was in the band.

Have you heard of a new album in the works? Have you heard anything at all? If so, please enlighten us all.

The point is, you don't know if they are working on new material or not. Knowing Neal, he's got SOMETHING going on, whether it's new Journey material or not. Why don't YOU enlighten us?

Everyone had better be ready for yet another big Journey letdown.. It happens. I don't expect much to happen w/Journey in the future. I guess this way I'll be surprised if anything happens at all.

Cheers to the blind followers! If it weren't for you, the web just wouldn't be the same! :P

i don't think they'll retire.they will get a new singer who sings the hits and tour behind it.i don't think there will be any more studio releases.perry will get to where he will tell people not to even mention the word journey to him anymore.of course the back catalog will sustain them......

I think we'll see the "Tails Between Our Legs" Tribute to Journey Tour - they haven't shown too much intelligence so far, can't imagine they would get the hint and retire now...

Yeah, but at this point, keeping the name Journey isn't going to get them recognized or paid if they're sitting at home with no lead singer.

I seem to remember Jon having issues with John Waite....something to the effect like Perry never pulled the s*** Waite did....

John Waite's tour manager told me a few years back before a meet and greet with John not to even MENTION BE or Schon or Friga. He indicated that there was THAT much bad blood still lingering. Waite, btw, was one of the nicest folks I've ever met in the industry.

John is a spectacularly nice fellow, and fantastically talented, too.

JW opened for Journey in 2001...so if there was bad blood it occurred on the road that tour. That's news to me, but I'm not surprised.

I remember thinking that they must have "buried the hatchet" when JW was opening, he was actually fun to see - another case of not especially caring for someone until seeing them live.
