Yeah, that was a completely planned (and taped) interview....The DJ knew who JSS was...Also with respect to a new singer they 'Got a few leads', and expect to be touring next year.

Jon says they're going back to their legacy sound.... well that means Steve Perry sound and no one can can touch that man's voice!! There are tributes to and impersonations of, but no singer can do what Perry does, that catalogue is his alone. So maybe there is hope for Journey after all!!
