I just make em. Anyone wants to use it - feel free.

Besides, you all are doing very well with that campaign - it's a good form of protest, done the right way and organized.

Whereas I'm likely to snap at any moment and go off all on my own, unilaterally - the wrong way.

How about one with Ghost Rider? I'm having a major creativity block! Must be all of the sparring with Matty just sucking the life right out of me.

Speaking of Matty he needs an AV of Friga, too but not the one here. He needs one of Friga's queer pose on the sofa from Arrival's liner!

dude its not a protest. It's abou appreciation , celebration and promotion of JSS and his music. There is no wrong way to thank Jeff.
We're showing our support towards Jeff, because we love his music, not because of the Journey deal.

I get that, I see it as support as well. However, it also serves a form of protest as well once you make any post in the Journey section.

NOT posting in the Journey section would be protesting .
People can still listen to Journey while thinking that JSS Rocks. JSS rocked long before he joined Journery. Ask Larry ! ;)

I still say that's bullshit. When Cain began to become transparent with his dislike of JSS at the helm, he realized that it was in the best interest of the band for him to fake it until all of the checks from Europe were cashed. Then they fired him. I believe Neal was on board, but Friga never was.

He said that Schon was putting JSS down by saying "you're not in Van Halen you know" and such like....that Schon had cooled in their relationship..and so on.

But maybe your theory kicks in here, Saint John? That Neal was being manipulated by Cain without realising it....

That's odd, too b/c Neal of all people knew going into Jrny the way JSS carried himself onstage.

More active, more phrenetic, yes more VH frontman esque. Hell's the problem w/ that anyway especially if you KNEW it?

Something's not gelling.

The adulation JSS got bugged them beyond repair after 1 tour?

And you look at the whole ESC4P3 DVD and the ROR live clip of BGTY on the GH dvd, perry's pretty frenetic too. He's all over the stage 110 mph, not unlike JSS.

(For the Augeri-Drive-By-Shooter lurkers who may leap out of the weeds at me if I show up @ Frank's crib, I'm a huge fan of Augeri's stage persona, too just a more laid back style than the other 2).

It's REALLY quite simple. Perry was allowed to run around like a madman because he IS Steve Perry. JSS running around like that garnered WAY too much attention and became a sideshow in their minds. This was bad because it would leak out to the general listening public that Perry was NOT there any longer and that may have hampered ticket sales and album purchases. And that is something those two penny pinchers were NOT going to allow happen. They do NOT want a new identity or direction, hence the "legacy" excuse.

Yeah, I don't see Neal having a problem with JSS stage presence, it was toned down quite a bit from how he was with SS. I'd say Jon had the problem and Neal was trying to warn Jeff to tone it down a bit more. I wouldn't be surprised if Neal still wants Jeff in but has his hands tied by Cain.
