New Hagar Song

Postby Saint John » Fri Aug 03, 2007 9:42 am

I think the name is "Open." I caught about 90% of it this afternoon on The Loop here in Chicago. Excellent song. I swear it sounded a LOT like Schon on guitar. Outstanding guitar work. The song is very cool...a mid tempo number.

I like the song, but I don't see where it has a Schon guitar sound. It's closer to EVH to me.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Well fuck, Rick. Quit trying to "see" and LISTEN. I gave it another listen and I see (or should I say Hear) where you're coming from.

LOL I also 'hear' where you're coming from. It has some Schon type of rifs in it.

Great tune.. Sammy still rocks!

I don't hear any resemblance of Neal on guitar, though. That's just not there at all.

Good song.I like the new album a lot,has some really cool tunes on it. Besides my favorite,"Sam I Am",there are a few other catchy ones, like "Mexico" and "I Love This Bar".
"Let Me Take You There" is my second favorite, tho.

Thanks for the heads up on the new Hagar. Speaking of singers that still have it (in the other thread), Hagar sounds as good as he did 30 years ago. He still has it for sure. That song is good too.

Good song. Sounds like Jon Bon Jovi during the chorus, though. Sammy still rocks.
