Porcupine Tree is better than Queensryche and neck and neck with Dream Theater.

Not just decent, but an EXCELLENT band.

would love to see evolution performed in ORDER!! Even Infinity in order would be awesome.

Generations would be awful concept tour... 4 good songs... MAYBE.
FITHL okay maybe 1 great live song...

Departure would also be interesting to hear in order as well!!

Don't give me the standard Beatles/Zeppelin response. Lennon/McCartney and Page/Plant were symbiotic, and their solo stuff (with a few exceptions) is not even in the same league as the last two REAL Floyd albums or his four solo records.

You'll laugh, BA is more accomplished and talented than is Waters.

I've seen both Pink Floyd and Roger Waters perform all of Dark Side of The Moon. THAT is an experience!

Do you mean Pink Floyd WITH Roger Waters, or two separate shows? If it was two shows, which did you prefer?

Two separate shows. I saw Floyd in 94 and Roger Waters last month. Liam is full of shit, Roger sounded just fine. It's a tough call, but I would have to go with Pink Floyd. The Floyd show was outdoors and one of the most amazing shows I've ever been too. Of all the concerts I've been too, it's still in my top three.

I'm not full of shit...I was giving my opinion. I've never liked Waters' voice. Simple as that.

You gotta keep that harem in line, dude.

No kidding, bro. This one's a loose cannon.

Last two “real” Pink Floyd records? To me and a lot of Pink Floyd fans out there the last two “real” Pink Floyd records were Animals & The Wall. The Final Cut , while it may be great, is more like a Roger Waters solo album because the other two had very little input and Richard Wright wasn't even in the band anymore. To be honest if I had to choose between The Final Cut & The Division Bell I would choose the latter.

I love The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking & Radio K.A.O.S because he is not forcing his same old tired left wing political agenda. Hell not even Lennon harped about War as much as he did in songs.

I completely agree with what you wrote , Classic Rock. The FInal Cut was the most boring record I ever listened to in my youth. Don't want to go back and re-listen to it these days. The Division Bell was a decent record, I preferred A Momentary Lapse of Reason: while not a great record, I really loved On the Turning Away (it reminded me of Cruise, a song Gilmour did in his solo record). As for Waters solo records, they are hit and miss to me. I don't love a single record from start to finish.
BTW: my fav Floyd records are , to this day, Meddle-Dark Side-Wish You. The Wall still doesn't do for me as much as those 3.

I don't know why but I never really 'got' Pink Floyd. Most of their music to me seems self indulgent and depressing. It is like, on both a musical and a personal level, they all had a 'humour' gene removed at birth. Sure I love some of Gilmour's guitar work, some of his vocals (when it doesn't send me to sleep) and maybe half a dozen of their songs but for the most part Pink Floyd, and in particular the Waters written stuff, just loses my interest after a few minutes.

Actually, I do quite like some of Gilmour's solo albums, especially 'About Face' but, sorry, I'm not a Pink Floyd fan.

Love Floyd, but Waters touring on his own playing mostly (if not all) Floyd stuff seems silly...he was the most important creative force in the studio, but not particularly crucial in their live performances...his bass playing was appropriate for hte band, but he can't sing; Gilmour and Wright were the ones that gave Floyd its unique sound, and the fact that people are paying $100+ to see Waters front a Floyd cover band amazes me.
