High-level buffoonery right there.
Listen to Neal on The Time...I pick up on a different amazing riff with every listen.

Any chance of your partner being a "she?" THAT would be cool.

Arrival is a pretty good CD, whether you wanna give it Journey acclaim or not, its got some catchy tunes on it. Why does some on here seem like they hate Steve Augeri so much? I cant understand it. He only did what any other vocalist wouldve done if presented with a great opportunity but Ive noticed some on here treat him like hes the antichrist?

Exactly. Can't understand why he was treated with such disdain. Great Album. Higher Place an absolute gem.

WTF?It sounds nowhere near Bad English!
And definitly Higher place is kewl. I like the live versions better than the cd version though.

That's probably the strongest echo of BE. There's lots more other subtle referrences. What's the BE song off Backlash that Neal said was a complete Don Henley ripoff?
What's with these guys? Can't they come up with ANYTHING original...? I'll tell you - that rip off of the WCN guitar solo just IRKS me to no end. Such CRAP. Neal laughed about it in an interview. Something like: well, if you're going to steal from someone why not make it yourself?
I just can NOT listen to Arrival with a respectful ear.
Matthew wrote:It sounds like Bad English only in the sense that it's perfectly competant but slightly soulless and generic AOR music. Oh...and Neal's guitar playing too - which is the only truly exceptional aspect of this record.

Just about every band out there does this. Get over it.

Listening to Bad English and Arrival at the moment and I still haven't found any similarity to Arrival...

Right!
Arrival is a clean version of BE and BE is a raw version of Arrival!!!
They're entirely interchangeable works.
