With all the drama that wil acompany this tour ther really should make it into a reality show soap opera. What should we call it?

"HALEN and HELL" would be my choice.

bring back mike fucking anthony.this wolfgang the son of eddie isn't gonna cut it.david lee roth is the best showman/frontman in rock ever.its not his singing as much as the show he puts on that makes him the best.there are plenty of better singers but no better entertainer.

i hope eddie doesn't kill himself.

By the time this tour is half over, one of the following scenarios will most likely occur:
  1. Roth's dentures land in the 10th row after they fall out of his mouth and he boots them during his trademark scissors kick.
  2. Due to his newfound sobriety, Eddie begins smoking more and has a Zippo lighter installed on the back of his guitar's headstock.
  3. Blinded by the glare from Roth's bald spot and onstage outfit, Alex accidentally steps on the trap-door button instead of his bass drum pedal, sending Eddie plummeting twenty feet towards the concrete below, landing on Michael Anthony, who dropped by the venue to secretly take in the show.
  4. Wolfgang blows the bottom string on his bass, striking the crotch of Roth's sequined pants, causing them to rupture and allowing a tinfoil-wrapped cucumber to fall out.

5. Stage right collapses from Wolfgang's weight.

I would rather have MA on bass, but if having Wolfie there energizes Ed and makes him care about VH again, is that really a bad thing?

Depends on who is doing MA's background vocals. They are practically irreplaceable.

Ah, well, that solves MY problems with it. Ok, not really, DLR looks way too scary. LOL!

Our local rock stations have been including this news in their rock news sections. Most even mentioned about Mike and Sammy being out, Wolfy being in, Ed's rehab and some other stuff that made me go, ok, they know what's up, then after finishing up about the tour dates to be announced...one played a Sammy VH song.. Which I am a fan of, but the timing was funny.

I wish Ed's rehab/clean up would have happened in 2003. Then maybe Sam & Mike would still be there and they could move forward. I'd much rather have that than have them become a travelling jukebox/nostalgia act (something EVH has said he is vehemently against in the past) with a replacement bassist...

Actually, Drew's front page report says they will be piped in but they're recording NEW ones with the band including Wolfgang, who Eddie has actually said can sing his ASS off.

That'll be interesting to hear.

My wife had to laugh pretty good at that last photo, and all she could say was something like, yeah right.....
She has seen DLR a lot more times than me, and front row almost every time. She says that because of what he wears, or doesn't wear below the waste, and how he wears it....that she is positive that whatever is in those pants above is either part of the pants and/or not real.
She basically said that you can't help but see the way he is 'built', or not built and he maybe half that size and not like that thick around.
Whatever, take it for what it's worth, but what the photo above is showing ain't so she said... :?
