Just depressed right now. Sorry. :-(

Sorry to hear such sad news,Liam.May she R.I.P.

Listen to some good music, play your guitar....maybe it'll help a little.

((Cyberhug))

That's what I'm doin', baby. No better way to get over shit than to listen to good music. :-)

Good.

Ain't that the truth? The best medicine is a great song. That and a beer in hand, right?

You'll be fine...Give it time.

Funny thing is...a death (excluding my dad) has never affected me so much...I just don't get it. So I'm kinda at a loss here...

Maybe because she was young, too young to die...?It's shocking when that happens and it affects you more because you KNEW the person.
Death is never fair...
What was her name?

I'll pray for her family and for you, too.

I've been up all night and I didn't plan on it...which makes me continue to drink. Sad part is...I didn't have a beer until about 2am....about an hour after I heard about this. I was trying to tone it down....but...well...life has a funny way of creeping up on you.

You're not kidding! it certainly does. it's understandable though when you have a sudden shock to the system :)

Nice little song from Yes (Shock To The System), one of my theme songs.

well cause of my dyspraxia and penchants for bad accidents, etc I think mine must 'Girl cant help it!!' or 'dazed and confused! '

Condolences to you Liam, and my thoughts and prayers are both you and your friend.

It's ok to feel lost and confused right now.

Let yourself grieve and when you can, think of your friend and remember the good stuff ......

Your friend would probably appreciate being remembered for the good stuff too

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend Liam. I know it's much easier said than done, but try to keep the good thoughts and memories going strong right now. It's those good memories that will help ease the pain. I'm adding you and her family to my prayer list.

Liam....

So sorry for your loss..... :(

I totally understand how you feel right now....I lost my friend Kelly in 2001....and it still hurts sometimes...

But then I'll remember something funny about her...and I'll cheer up.

It IS very painful...you'll be in my Prayers....

Not much to say on this except death sucks, especially when it happens early in life.

Truly sorry to hear about your loss. In the past two weeks, I've lost a cousin and a co-worker. My cousin died of a heart attack at 43 and my friend lost her battle with colon cancer. She was only 35 years old. I wish I could say something to help you deal with this, but words fail right now. Just know you are in the thoughts of alot of people here and do think of the good times you shared with this person. It does help.

So we're using a Journey message board to become overly serious and without humor?

And speaking of hypersensitivity - number 1, I don't share my grief or anything too personal on a public message board, but if I did, I'd appreciate someone taking my mind off the loss with a joke.

Agreed...Personal stuff maybe shouldn't be posted on here. As far as the rolling of eyes, I know from posting here all this time that you've got a thicker skin than to be bothered by something that insignificant.
