Always so eloquent with words, bro.
Gotta say, though...I'm more of an NFL fan. LOVE CFB, but NFL is was I was raised on.

I agree. The bitches in the NFL don't care how they play because they still get their paychecks. College is way better. GO PENN STATE!!!

COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!!!!

You can't tell me you get the same feeling sitting in some corporate asswipe stadium on a Sunday with suck-ass 90s powerpop blaring over the speakers than you do sitting at any college stadium on a Thursday night with the friggin band and the drunk student section and... yeah... GAWD, college is just SO much better!!!!

So yeah Liam, suck it.

College football is great. I have no real allegience to any team though. I went to a small college, so I can't get hooked up into the frezy. Wish I could. No vested interest. I do agree though that the college level is awesome.

Same here, my college had all of 400 students. HOWEVER, growing up in the south, college football is religion. So I grew up a Tech fan (since Blacksburg is all of 30 miles from me) and for a few years was dragged to farrrr too many Tennessee games. Peyton was fun to watch but I HATE Vol fans. Most annoying self-riteous shitheads... ever.

Or at least the ones I've seen. I'm sure there are exceptions.

I hate college football. Will only watch if I'm bored out of my mind.

I love the NFL, could watch it 24/7.

I've always appreciated college ball over pro. That's where you always see the best of talent. It seems that a lot of times after these guys go pro they lose their ambition.. JMO.

No knocks from me on the CFB circuit. They do a GREAT job...no matter what team. They're playing for THAT team/school....VERY admirable. Wish I could've done it. I would've been an AWESOME QB.

I worry more about the blown calls in the NFL, many games, every week and how they change the outcome. Since there is betting , can this also be like the NBA? Maybe not and maybe it is too many constantly changing rules. I sit 2 -2 & 1-2 hrs to watch a ref blow a game. Many calls at anytime in the game, and TV replay, clearly show a bungled ref call. Hard working people spend hundreds and thousands to see a game which is a victory for the ref. This has to end. nFootball had a few astericks of their own !

You guys are impossible. This topic feels like it moved to a drugstore isle rather than a sports page . Shall we discuss brands and selling point descriptions ? Is this HS or what? Well ,it is a Sunday night !!

I love both NFL and College football! I'm a huge VA Tech fan, and a huge Washington Redskins fan as well. It's the same argument I have with Basketball. I absolutely hate NBA basketball, but love college basketball for the same reasons as what Dean has mentioned.

LOL. While Joe Pa is an institution to and of himself, Pete Carroll is twice the coach and recruiter than he is, and this is coming from a guy who cannot stand USC. SC is the best team in the country, easily.

I can go the whole year without watching a single NFL game. I watch Nascar over the NFL...I will watch MLB over the NFL. The NFL is too sterilized, too generic. College football has everything. NFL sucks.
