Precisely I think what Marty was trying to say in his original post was to just that the British scene has been quite influential in the world of modern music, not just in rock either. Some people may say no, but when you look at how many bands look towards a lot of these groups for their inspiration then you begin to see that this is most definitely the case. The question and answer makes you realise just how much so.
