One of the most despicable pieces of shit is leaving the cesspool that is the White House.

Karl Rove, while a smart guy, is nothing more than pure shit. He should have been fired for outing a CIA operative. He should have been fired for his masterplan of firing US Attorney's for political reasons.

This is a good day for America. Only two more assholes to go. Don't Stop Believin'. There's the obligatory Journey reference in order to conform with MR rules.

BTW, when have I ever said that I was a fan of President Bush, Karl Rove, etc? I defend them when I think they are right but they are wrong on so many things, i.e. over-spending, border security, etc.

Taxes were cut = good thing.

U.S. Attorney firings = could not care less. Presidents have the authority to fire them for ANY reason. Clinton did it also.

Leaking CIA names = It's been established that this was done by Dick Armitage. Besides that, Plame wasn't covert at the time and her hubby, Joe Wilson, was spouting off more classified info than anyone.

Election fraud? = something the Dems are very good at.

Next?

Tax cuts were a good thing? I guess bridge collapses and sinkholes and infrastructure are just fine...no need for money to rehabilitate or reinforce said infrastructure. As long as the bridge that fell isn't in your hometown, right?

Taxes are necessary.

Didn't I just read or hear a few days ago about record revenues coming into the federal government this year DESPITE TAXES BEING LOWER?

Besides that, crumbling infrastructure is a problem that goes back long before W was in office. Clinton is just as responsible as Bush. Bush Sr., etc.

Clinton WAS much more responsible with his administration than either of the Bushes. He raied taxes, and at the end of the day, everyone still had more money in their pockets. We've hashed this out ad nauseum. The topic at hand is Karl Rove. I love how you Neocons try to spin it back on Willy.

Rove is nearly as responsible for Bush's failures on border security, over-spending, and the other stuff. No spin on that. Cold, hard truth.

Harry Reid
Nancy Pelosi

Their careers depend on America LOSING the war, and sadly, that is exactly what they want.
Oh, and their congressional approval ratings are lower than Bush's.
Way to go!

bush didnt cause the bridge to collapse.. idiot.. tons and tons of weight on the bridge caused to collapse... thats what happened.

tax cuts GREAT... helped business and people----our business has been gangbusters since late 2003 when the tax cuts came into play, everyone who wants to travel is traveling... and it has helped our employees take home MORE PAY..

Eh, I'm not going to disagree with you. Fuck, I'm studying to become an accountant....who am I to argue the merits of a taxless society.

But I will disagree with something you're alluding to, Dean. Tax cuts aren't the reason why we have a sinking infrasctructure. It's because we're spending our money elsewhere.

Want something to blame for the bridge collapse? Blame this fucking iraq war....Blame the unlimited pot of foreign aide we hemorage out of this country to third world stinkholes that use the money for political capital.

I can't, in good conscience, say that taxation of a person's estate, after a person died...is at all a good thing. Or not indexing the Alternative Minimum Tax for inflaction....If you haven't been hit with AMT yet, just wait a few years. It's currently called the Alternative Minimum Tax. But it really should be called the 'Added Misery Tax'.

There's alot of tax cutting that can be done, to help stimulate the economy....and allow people to keep their money....so that they re-stimulate the economy.

The big problem is the fact that the current criminal in office and his cabinet, have gone hog wild with the war spending, the 'so-called' anti-terrorism shit (which includes the biggest farce agency in the world, the TSA). It's ok to sacrifice bridge and road safety, so long as our basic freedoms are invaded when we travel!

But, yeah, Deano...I get what your saying...I just think that bridges and basic infrastructure need not be dependant on tax increases....but cutting spending in stupid bullshit like the middle east and domestic agencies like the TSA.

Going to jump to Deano's defense here (which is shocking, as I have generally voted repub since I was old enough to vote)...Clinton was the only president of the 3 mentioned, that had a balanced budget. Jorge senor didn't have a balanced budget, and rasied taxes in orafice. One of clinton's major goals entering office....was a balanced budget.

That philosophy was thrown out the window in Jorge Junior's first year in orafice. Hell, I'd be willing to bet that the plan was in place long before he got into orafice. When you're in the throws of massive defecit spending and someone comes to you and says "we need to fix some bridges"...your first reaction is to go "with what money!?"

However, if you're managing your budget wisely...and you are either creating a surplus or maintaining a balanced budget, and someone says "Bridges need money, bro!" Your reply is "let's see how we can fit it in"

Aren't bridges and highways the state's responsibility?

Btw, nearly all politicians become dirtbags...by some standard. Regardless of party affiliation, power corrupts. There will always be someone to blame. And another dirtbag will replace Rove. It happens, according to 'someones' opinion within every administration.

If Clinton were running this war, Bill or Hill, it would not be as fucked up as this is. Forget the fact that this war is a joke and a lie and is just flatout ridiculous...add to that it is being hjandled by incompetent morons; see Rummy, Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Condi...not the smartest group of people to be sure.

Have it your way then. The failed crumbling infrastructure in this country can be blamed on Bush, who's administration thinks losing a war in grand style in some toilet wasteland, is more important than spending the money here.

An outsiders view - Carl Rove is seen outside the USA, as one of the fattest fatcats who have single handedly helped to give the USA the worst reputation in the world for many a generation; Bushes Dubya and George, Rummy, Wolfie and chief puppeteer and super fatcat Dick Cheney have wrecked so much goodwill with the Iraq war and other associated dirty tricks - they seem to have bled the USA, as shareholders in Haliburton etc, christ, they might as well have gotten you guys to pay them directly every month from your wages into their pensions?
