Mac,

You rocked on the interview, it sounded great. Hopefully that will move a few more tickets for SB.

The interview was great but the DJ's song selection could have been a bit more "popular." Overall grade is a B+. 8)

Yep this is good old ARfm, Steve Price does a great show! keep listening, you will hear good old stuff as well as brilliant new stuff :)
Next show up is Neil & Simon who live in Hull, My city. :) And they're good friends of ours, although their taste is a little heavier Powermetal, thrash etc :) but funny all the same ;) Simon is going to help Shaggy & his partner in crime FBT put a demo tape for a show together if Steve thinks it ok and likes what they do :-)

Shaggy is so cheeky :o he said can you get their autographs for us and mail them!!! ....do you want me to slap him for you   ...or would you rather wait until the next Firefest!!!!

The DJ's song selection is popular, maybe because its very popular in Europe and you don't get too much air play over there for European bands?, much like JSS has been for the last 20 years...so have you listened to Steve's show before? :)....

Seeing as you will have missed the majority of his show I have put the play list on here...you may see some names you recognize:)... but then it's always a good experience to listen to new sounds and there is plenty out there, especially in Scandinavia...if you listen you may be pleasantly surprised! Steve as I said plays some of the old classics, but he also promotes new sounds that coming through.

And as Andrew Says
Andrew wrote:Steve's awesome...top man and devoted to the scene.
And Im sure you could ask Danny Vaughn, JSS, Jim Petrick, Tommy Denander, David Coverdale, Ronnie James Dio, Alice Cooper...I could go on and they would tell you Steve Price is one of the most informed & respected people on the world of Melodic Rock, which is why many of the big names in the business are always willing to talk to Pricey!!.:)

Can we get an mp3 of that interview?
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

No , but if you go onto the ARfm site you will see when the repeat of the show is on the schedule, I believe it's Thursday sometime if my memory serves me right, also remember to allow for the time difference too..cause it's going out UK Time :D
