Pretty good movie, better than Rob Zombie's other flicks. Spent a little too much time on the child Michael and made him a bit too human for us die hard fans! No spoilers here, but its worth the money to check out! Adult Michael was BAD ASS though!!! Great job Tyler Mane!!! If you are a House of a 1000 corpses fan or devils rejects you will be glad to know every actor from those are in this movie!!!! Not the best Michael but overall i'll say its OK.

Yeah...much boobage. But that was to be expected. And I agree, it's Rob's best, absolutely. He did a good job.

I'm sick of remakes, though this one does look halfway decent.

Dont go in thinking about the original and comparing the 2, the original is a classic and by far better. Nothing wrong with this story though. I was alittle disappointed in the suspense buildup, or should I say lack of suspense. It didnt really make you jump out of your seat or sit on the edge of your seat. But still RZ's best and Sherri Moon is in it-thats worth the price of admission!!!

By the way, the kid who played young Michael did a good job. He has a bright future in Hollywood ahead of him. And a GREAT soundtrack. I heard God of Thunder by Kiss, Tom Sawyer, Dont fear the reaper, and a few others I cant remember. Does the soundtrack have all these songs on it?

"Tom Sawyer" might stop me from seeing the movie. How long is it played?

not long, just enough to set up a scene. Love Hurts by Nazareth was also featured in this flick.

Very good flick. Zombie's movies are awesome. He's got a great sense of the perverse side of horror. I give it an A.

Wow.
Scary movie.

Zombie did a good job. Cut the young myers in half and add to the preset-day Haddonfield, and polish up some of the atrocious dialogue and you'd have a damn near masterpiece.

Loved the way the town looked and the fall atmosphere, that was critical.

I have read over and over how the language is just too over the top. That bums me, as I want to see this movie but not if it is just a profanity-fest.

I have also read where movie-goers are actually laughing during the film. This is Not the Myers I grew up with.

I can't find too many reputable movie reviewers who liked this film. Rotten Tomatos hates it by about 90%.

What I've found over the years is that when "reputable" movie reviewers like a film, it is usually the most horrid thing I've ever seen. i.e. Ghandi. Reviewers loved it, I would rather get my teeth pulled with a jack hammer. When reviewers dislike a film, it is usually a hit with the targeted audience. Halloween couldn't be all that bad, it set the labor day weekend movie record at 26.5 mil as of yesterday.

Although I really dug this movie and Zombie's treatment of it I am guilty of laughing out loud when young Myers chased Judith down the hall in the mask.

It was a Michael Myers bobblehead and unfortunate unintentional comedy.

Yeah, but it was still scary. Buying this one the day it comes out.

You see the preview for 30 Days of Night? Looks like it could be a good flick.

I thought it was horrible...I know he had to establish the real adult Myers mask but there HAD to have been a better way....
The truck stop scene with Tom Sawyer playing on the sdtk was totally cool and scary as F---.

The killing of "Bob" was terrific...

I'm not feeling that 30 days thing, but I was intrigued by the The Mist preview....read the short story it was great. Really sick.
