This is the equivalent of watching an Orioles/Devil Ray tilt in late September at Tropicana field.

Ok.

NFC vs AFC Pro Bowl. Does it get any worse than that?

I voted Storm, but not because they were any good. Saw them open for Bryan Adams in '93. They had Rolie, BE had that ruffled blouse wearing tulip dancing faggot Friga.. 1 Point Storm.

They didn't have Neal, but they also had an American singer instead of some bile breathed Chap in leathers and sequins.

Storm in a rout, 35-7.

Yeah, Hockey's all-star game is worse than anything. Hasn't been a hit in it since the early 80's....Tiger Williams?

Bad English for me also. Though I dig the Storm too.

Which Bad English album do you all prefer?

I think I am one of the few who prefers Backlash to the first. Just liked the songs more. Less pop sounding to me anyway.

NHL All Star Game is much better than a bunch of unappreciative assholes playing football who don't even want to be there. Most of the Pro Bowlers voted into the NFL PB don't even go. Get a bunch of malcontents wreacking havoc on Hawaii Island..prostitutes, gambling, guns, drugs, etc. The NHL player is a much better person on the whole than the NFLer or MLBer, and especially the NBA er. NBA er is the worst of the worst.

Watching either one of these bands would be about as much fun as being Owen Wilson's wrists.

Less filling

Postby StoneCold » Sat Sep 01, 2007 5:48 am

Bad English has some great songs and then some crappy ones. I can't listen to either cd without skipping.

Except for the crap "In The Raw" both Storm albums are more consistent.

Not as many hits as BE but less filler too.

Bad English....thought Deano's reference to ruffled blouse wearer was going to be Waite for a sec...at least Cain's band uniform was better than the painting smock...

Dano, I thought the second album was more pop, the first more heavy with FMN, BOWIG, Rockin' Horse...I prefer the first but some of the second (Savage Blue) was pretty cool.

The Storm was ok, Chalfant was more than adequate as a Perry stand in but Ramos is a poor imitation of Schon, many guitarists can play the notes but Ramos didn't have the feeling and emotion to fill Neal's shoes.

Siding with Deano on this one...

Storm vs Bad English is like Tiger Woods taking out Steven Ames 9 with 8 to play.

StrageGreys' current AV wins.

It's more "dynamic".

If they were of equal size we'd have a good poll thread.

SG's av is kinda of hypnotic.

I give a slight edge to Bad English if for no other reason than that Schon was their guitarist, but The storm were really damn good too. actually, The storm were more similar to Journey than Bad english was though.

Storm

Postby tupchurch » Sat Sep 01, 2007 12:37 pm

The Storm was better all the way around. Better album. Better singer. Better drummer. Bad English had the best guitar. Rolie came into his own writing with the Storm and just put on a great show.

To be honest I don't remember any of The Storm's songs but I watched a video on you tube of them the other day when NealIs posted it in a other forum. I voted for The storm. They sounded great and Rolie is a good song writer and Valory is a good bass player. The singer and guitar player sounded good too. I'm not really a fan of Tom Waite.
