Three more obscurities.....

You Can Do Magic - America

From the same song-writer who wrote I Surrender and Since You've Been Gone for Rainbow....

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hE8-jjj_rZA

Love Will Find A Way - Yes

Nowhere near as successful as Owner of a Lonely Heart...but another classic AOR single nonetheless....

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=W-Ow3fFLu94

Walking On Ice - Quarterflash

This sank like a stone in 1985...but I actually prefer it to Harden My Heart....

I agree NIG, I really like it as well - so much so that I downloaded it onto my iPod as well as a few others here that jogged my memory. I've been playing the hell out of it, just love the keyboards swooshing back and forth between the speakers  Almost has a "10 cc" sound but rocked up... I thought I had every possible song from my childhood and teen years in the 70's and 80's downloaded but obviously missed a few after keeping up with this thread :D

I had that Dan Hartman album - and I Can Dream About You was the worst song on it - cos they were all good - especially the ballad - Shy Hearts........................

Funny you say that. I also updated my iPod yesterday, added a few tunes from here. You were able to find an MP3 of that New England tune? Wanna share? :)

"Don't Ever Want To Lose Ya" is definitely the stand out track by far- but there's about three or four other songs worth having, I think.

Just found this - one of the weaker tracks - which was the other single:

P.U.N.K - New England

A few more....

Satellite - The Hooters

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1lwYK8EHd ... ed&search=

Heaven Tonight - Waysted

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=42xUel_Si8I

Black Coffee In Bed - Squeeze

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=sJLHKcJdH ... ed&search=

Whole Of The Moon - The Waterboys

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AsNTmjlf1 ... ed&search=

Mirror, Mirror - Dollar

Possibly the gayest clip of all-time - but this was Trevor Horn's first production which paved the way for Yes' masterpiece 90125.

His 1985 Twitch album was really great; check out songs like "Tonite", "Heartless", and "If Looks Could Kill" on that album.

He made a comeback in 1990 with Blood on the Bricks. Here's the vid for the title track from that album.

Also, does anyone remember this obscure track?

Speaking of Aldo Nova, capped this pic from an interview that Aldo joined Jon Bon Jovi on. I remember hearing they were great friends, but they look more like they were separated at birth.

You're preaching to the choir here, weatherman. I am a HUGE Aldo Nova fan. Aldo is the guitarist on the studio recording of Bon Jovi's "Runaway". Aldo plays every instrument and does all of the BG vox on his first album.

Bon Jovi was on Aldo's Blood on The Bricks cd and Aldo helped Bon Jovi with the Young Guns II, Blaze of Glory soundtrack.

"Foolin' Yourself" also got a little radio play back in the day.

The entire album from where this comes from is AWESOME!
Karla With A K & Washington's Day are my favorites,damn I love them!
It's been 20 years since it was released and I still play it often...One of the most special albums ever.

"One Way Home" is the name of it,if anyone wants to get it.
1987.What a year!

Best song to come out of Scotland, trying to find the Barrowlands version as that's sang mostly by the fans and is pure Artist/Fan harmony.

Awwww they were my very first concert. We were too young to go on our own, so our friend's mom took us. Yep, we had our little tartan scarves and all.
