Lost Another One...

Well...this has been a shitty couple of months. First Shea and now one of my best friends, Billy. As I type this...he's basically braindead and is being kept alive by a ventalator. It looks like the plug will probably get pulled later today...but it may be tomorrow. I'm not sure. I'm at the hospital right now and his wife is talking to the doctor...so I'll see what was said when I get back upstairs. I just figured I'd take this time to update y'all on what I meant by my only post (in the Booze Thread) yesterday morning.
Send your prayers to him and his family. I'll get back to you when I can.

Tell my why in the last 9 years I've lost so fuckin' many people that I've cared about. Some younger, a few older, MOST without a reason.

Liam...I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. :( Please know that I'm keeping his family in my prayers.

Maybe the thought of him being now in Heaven could lessen your grief.

I lost my best friend to cancer a couple of years ago and I still think of her every day. I am so sorry for your loss. Will keep you and your friend's family in my thoughts.

I'm in the same boat as you....lost friends from Grade-School-Age right up until 2001....and that was 3 friends in less than 6 months....they were all good people.

Aw damn dude. I'm sorry to hear that. I know how you feel bro, I was where you are not too awful long ago. Keep your chin up and do something that is a fitting tribute to your friend. Saying something at the funeral is a good way to do just that.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
