I must agree with Saint John - let Andrew handle this through the proper channels and board members show their support with that PayPal button. I have been made aware of a VERY serious attempt by an obsessed Journey asshole fan to RUIN MelodicRockFest.

This insane lunatic is e-mailing the venue and press outlets that are lined up to promote my event calling on them to boycott the event and boycott all promotion of this event due to racism on THIS message board and citing as an example that half-assed Pilipino blog article of last week.

I KNOW WHO THIS PERSON IS AND AM OBTAINING LEGAL ADVICE ON WHETHER SHE CAN BE SUED FOR DEFAMATION AND WHETHER SHE CAN BE SUED FOR POTENTIAL LOSS OF INCOME ETC ETC.

I will not hold back on this - this IS MY LIVELIHOOD we are talking about and I will NOT BE SLANDERED BY SOME MALICIOUS GROUPIE and I will not allow my 10th Anniversary Show to placed under such an absurd cloud.

Andrew, anybody who sees your involvement and commitment to the music, knows you are a great guy who doesnt give a damn about somebody's gender/race etc - we are ALL behind you and i never tire of telling people about your great site, including guys who run guitar sales websites etc and all the musicians and technicians i come across thru my amateur attempts at making music. People know that you are a good guy and that you do not deserve an ounce of this shit - i think "she" is throwing the toys out the pram cos you are a success. WE have to stick together to promote all your causes - which i try to do as much as is possible from so far away. Any doubters out there - only need to read your posts to see what you bring to the table and they only need to ask any of the hundreds of musicians you feature, to know that this site is a shot in the arm for the music we love. Couldn't agree more T-Bone. These type of mean-spirited, insecure individuals are just looking for attention, doesn't matter that it's negative. Racist? I haven't been on here long but I know from reading other forums there are plenty of self-described "heroes" out there who think they can save the world from evil forum posters.
They have an unreal fixation on the "celebrity" of topic and reality takes a flying leap out the window.
They have no life, so they make others miserable with them.
