all we ever got when I lived at home was cows in the garden ..., although we do get pheasants and peacocks on occasion but a bear lovely but scary at the same time

We rented a little cabin in Ruidoso, NM and the landlady said, "There's a bear that likes to stare into the picture window here, but don't let him scare you, just wave him off and say Shoo!" We didn't get a chance to experience that, thank God.

my sis and her hubby were camping last year when two badgers got into their tent, these things can snap a mans leg in two with their teeth...marie & alan decided if they kept as still as poss they would stand a better chance of them leaving, sure enough they did...however they were annoyed that the farmer neglected to let them know there were Badger setts right were they were camping.. a lucky escape from visiting A&E for them Badgers aren't usually harmful but if atagonised they can be...IE if you move etc...but a bear thats really something..

It was a Resort Hotel, from the 1920s. I love the lamp in the pic.

Here's another one...this was taken during the "Chicago Architectural Canal Tour"....we were on our way out to the Navy Pier, with the Chicago skyline in the background. It was a gorgeous, crystal clear day:

Last year when I flew for the first time, my fave part was flying over Lake Michigan
just before our Chicago stop over.
Was beyond breathtaking seeing the different hue's in the waves below.
