She stumbled around looking either very disinterested or possibly high and seemed to forget the words to her own song despite the fact she was lip-syncing. Every so often she would strike a lazy pose but her backup dancers were literally having to drag her round the stage and hold her upright at times. It was embarrassing to watch.

Frankly though you couldn't expect much more from someone who spent the last three days/nights partying instead of rehearsing despite having apparently been forewarned by MTV producers not to screw up this chance especially after they kept the shows musical producer Timbaland out of the loop on the decision to include her.

As much as I dislike her music I was actually hoping she would succeed as everyone deserves another chance.

I'm betting on a suicide attempt or some kind of drug related 'incident'.

Evil I know but the writing is definitely on the wall unless she is given the help she so desperately needs but doesn't seem to want. Maybe losing the kids to Kfed will be the wake up call she needs...or not?

She was clearly in no condition (health and mental) to have done this. She danced like she was giving lessons in a seniors home. I think it is all cathcing up to her and I hope she bounces when she hits bottom - because I dont think she has hit it yet.

That being said, it was cruel of MTV to allow Sarah Silverman to follow Britney's performance with some very pointed comments directed toward the falling star. Funny as fuck yes, but cruel none the less.

It may take losing everything ( House, kids, money, etc) Britney has worked for to get her to wake up and take the help that is offered. Sometimes it takes being homeless on the street to wake someone up. But the biggest thing it takes is Britney really wanting to change herself. Until then, she is a walking trainwreck.
