I didn't think it was. I said that because I used to be an Augeri Hater and piled on whenever I could.

Now I am just indeferent. :?

well now you're not really indifferent if you choose to post something negative in a thread that a fan of his started with good intention are you. ;)

I understand what you're saying about sales, but it does seem that most melodic rock artists are selling their music through Itunes, CDBaby, etc., and their own websites. It seems that only the heavy hitters with huge corporate backing, rap stars, and country artists are making it to shelves in Target and Walmart. The majority of the artists that Andrew promotes on his site are on independent labels and selling direct. That is just the nature of the music industry. I think the majority of these guys are in it more to be doing what they love than for the money. The money days are gone unless you win American Idol. And that only lasts for a season. :?

I suppose there is a fine line between "negative" and "truthful".

Am I out to blast the guy like in the past? No, not at all. I used to have a hatred for him. That is gone.

I just answered in the most likely scenario as I see it.

You are right about Target and Walmart sales - which is where most of the retail music is bought these days. In truth, I would like to see him make it, just to spite Journey.

But I am not looking for it either way.

There is a fine line especially to a fan. :) I know you are not a moron Knox like others who just want to see the guy fail for their own enjoyment.

I will too, and I'm not an overweight housewife from BT.

Way to keep things positive...

The Tall Stories album was a great album and that interests me that more of their stuff will see the light of day. As for his solo stuff, we'll have to see. Personally, I think it would be great if the guy had the last laugh. I doubt that's probable, but at least Augeri is reported to be working on new music. That's more than I can say about his latest past employers who don't really seem to be doing anything new at all.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

I listened to my Tall Stories CD about 3 times and shelved it.

Anyone want it for $5 plus shipping? If I can find it, that is...

LOL, Knox you can't roll w/ the first Tall Stories? I think it's pretty damn good. Not Arrival good, but good.

I actually prefer Tall Stories on the WHOLE over Arrival on the WHOLE. Arrival has classics IMO but too much drek in the middle. Tall Stories was a more concise CD...

I have a Pay Pal account, I will buy it from you. I like it better than Arrival.I will buy the At The Moment cd as soon as it is released. He was good from 1999 till 2005, off and on,but he did the best he could until the lipping. Steve Augeri was a good singer and a nice guy, like Jeff,Its a shame they both got mixed up with the wrong crowd
