Official Led Zeppelin announcement

Postby Angiekay » Thu Sep 13, 2007 1:52 am

Led Zeppelin have announced they will reunite for a charity concert in honor of late Atlantic Records president Ahmet Etergun on November 26th at the O-2 Arena in London. Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones will be joined by Jason Bonham, the son of their late drummer John Bonham. This marks Led Zep's first public performance since Atlantic Records' 40th anniversary party in 1998 and their first performance of any kind since they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995. The show will also feature performances by Pete Townshend, Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings, Foreigner and Paolo Nutini. Profits from the show will go to the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund, which funds annual scholarships to universities in the U-K, U-S and Turkey. Tickets will be sold through a lottery system. --Steve Reynolds

just an update with the latest in case you didn't catch it...

Just read on CNN that 20 million (yes, 20 million) people have tried to buy tickets for this event online. The site has crashed big time trying to take the load of folks logging on....

read it here...

NOTHING is worth living there, trust me.

Shania Twain going down on Naomi Watts isn't good enough.

Yes Dean, when on the subject of the UK - you are a grade A wanker. Ill informed, ignorant dickhead - you should know better, you can string a sentence together and construct a decent anti-Bush rant, but man, you absolutely suck sometimes. Bigtime.

I don't disagree, I just loathe educated people (and I include Deano in that) not engaging brain before mouth on subjects (ie living in the UK) when they patently have no fucking idea what they are talking about. I also get tired of the same old abuse dished out. Generally not funny and certainly not clever. Reminds me of fat school bullies who generally got a good kickin when it came down to it.

Yes...come on Deano...make an effort. You might be amusing the newbies but spare a thought for some of us who have heard this routine a hundred times before. I'm struggling to stay awake here....
