thanks PO8 - great pics!!!

EVH looks a lot healthier than the last pics I saw ..... he obviously has been working hard.

This is going to be a great tour .... wish I could be there.

Yeah, I can't believe how much better Eddie looks. What an improvement. It wasn't so long ago that he looked like this.

Damn, lol, I have been trying to avoid that photo, thanks for posting that, lol. Seriously, that photo has always made me sick. Completely unreal that he got to that point. I tried to tell myself that wasn't EVH. Shit, it was just flat out sad that he became that.
Kudos to him now.

He deserves a lot of kudos for his hard work in getting himself turned around. I hope he sticks with it. I'd like to see them stay at this for a while.

The reunion tour with DLR is cool, but I've always loved the Hagar era also, especially "5150". That album was great and I've always loved the "Live Without a Net" vids, especially the title track...

Love the Hagar stuff too. The reunion tour was really good.
Van Halen has to be one of the most successful bands that had had so many hits with two different singers. Really quite amazing.
I really do like a lot of Van Hagar stuff. Sam's voice on stuff like Dreams and How Do I Know When It's Love is just incredible.
It really too is not shocker that Sam and Mike ended up together, if you will. They both have the same good souls.
Damn too, looking at those pics above of Ed and Dave together again is just phenominal.
My head is all over the place with this everything that is VH-past and present.

Me too bro. 5150 is an excellent record. I used to listen to that over and over. Sammy Hagar was the best choice to continue VH, but this deal about DLR back with VH is very exciting too.

5150 was my intro to Van Halen and it was my favorite album for several years. I now enjoy the DLR era just as much and maybe more but I'd be more excited about the "reunion" tour if Michael Anthony was onboard.

He is looking great compared to the "old man" photo. Kudos to Eddie for getting his act together.

Great photos!

Dave can handle this gig. I've seen him solo several times and he's actually better than when he was actually in VH back in the day.

My question, like many others, is what will the backing vox sound like?
