Red I'm proud of you. You broke down and gave it a listen. I'm about balladed out myself after Reach but it is good to hear Jamo and Jp together isn't it?

Please feel free to post on here anytime you want, it's good to hear from you!

I know that you are no-doubt very busy, but if you could give us updates on your album from time to time that would be great!

Could you please name who a few of your personal favorite singers from over the years are?

I've been so broke the last several years that I haven't been able to ever by the Mecca CD, but it's on my list of future buys, along with the Pride Of Lions CD's. If Frankie is playing on the new album then that just gives me all the more incentive to get it as well.

Hey man...Thanks!!

This is a Jamo thread so I feel uncomfortable answering a bunch of stuff on his thread....you can start a different one and I can answer everything and keep you guys posted on that one.....

But...my favorite Singers over the years......hmmm...well here it goes...IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER.....Warren Wiebe (R.I.P), Richard Page (can sing ANYTHING), Peter Gabriel (For the emotional content of his vocals), Thom Griffin (for teaching me how to sing), Jamo, Dave, Mickey Thomas and Lou Gramm.

Thanks for the reply!

Jamison, Bickler, Thomas and Gramm all rank really, really high on my list as well.

I talked to Richard about 6 months ago...he seems quite happy and is writing....I actually heard one song, I guess I am not even allowed to say the name but suffice to say I like it more than ANYTHING he has ever done....It has become my new benchmark and is the finest recorded vocal I have ever heard.....by anyone....I hear people talking about range, and is one singer better than another because of how high they can sing....well I can hit a hi E over C full voice and it doesn't mean crap....it's all about the emotion you can convey.....Richard does it like no one else...period.....

So to answer your question he is doing well.....

Whats up everybody,
Just wanted to say that i heard JJ new song i liked it. I am not a ballad guy and can tell you straight up i didn't really like all the ballads that Survivor did back in the day. The words were great but not the music. I actually would love to hear FS sound or his touches on this new song. But alone it is strong of coure to the strong lyrics of JP. YEs it is a different sound and i think that is a good thing. You can't stay the same forever. It is a different side to JJ. I had asked Jimi on his myspace page if he had any thought to putting the song "I love her anyways" on a cd and it said that he had to get permission from JP to do that so it was being worked out. I hope that song makes the new cd as well. When he did that in concert it hit. So i would like to say you are going to see a variety of different music from JJ. Of course i am not in the know so it is just my opinion but from what i see from the new song Come Dancin it looks like it could go in any direction but at least thier is direction.

Hey Slander,
No i am not in Vacaville but very very close. I am in the other V.
I am from a pretty rich musical city where Confunshion and a few bigger name rappers(E-40, Mac Dre and N2Deep) are from. Even Ike Turner and John Lee Hooker and one of Tower of Power's band members are from here. I almost forget the legent himself Roy Rogers(the delta side guitarts is from here not the cowboy) lived here. I am in Vallejo. Did you live in Vacaville yourself? What part of northern California were you in?

Way back in the day Castro Valley. I also lived in San Luis Obispo. I do miss it much. I swear it was the most calming place on earth. Any time I had a problem I would take a drive on the 101 in my miata and everything seemed ago.

I can't remember (shame on me I know) seeing Richard's name in the credits. Now I'll have to go back and listen to the stuff and focus on RP's vocals. Cronin's is unmistakeable though.

I love Come Dancin'. This is a new direction for JJ and I believe he can go in any direction he wants to. He's got the voice and the shit to back it up. I can't wait to hear more from him. :D
