Video #3 above lets you hear how much Wolfie sounds like Michael Anthony. Other than a little voice cracking due to puberty, he doesn't sound half bad on this clip.

Weird? Eddie wants his son in the band and he's good. Whats weird about that? He's been wanting to replace whats his name for years anyways.

Instead of selling where's MA T shirts they should sell T shirts that say MA bailed VH to join The Other Half.

Some more videoo.

Damn, every time I see one of those I get mad. I've said it before I don't care for DLR, but VH as a band I love. Both shows in MI are sold out so there goes my chance of going.

   :(

Let's hope there is some bitching audio/video form the tour.

Check the ticket brokers a few days before the shows and you can get some pretty good deals.

Oh, there will be. This is HUGE in the Van Halen community. I have already heard of like 22 shows being done. There are so many from the 2004 tour and this is bigger than that to the die hard Van Halen fans who have been waiting for this for years.

Hey all....had to stop by to see if more clips were posted.

Overall, I think they are sounding pretty damn good. I bet the hard core VH fans are going nuts. Eddie and Dave have both been to rock bottom and it's good to see they survived, made amends and are doing this for themselves and the fans. Good on them all the way around. It's a miracle one of them isn't 6 feet under by now, so this clean & sober reunion is a triumph for everybody. (well, except M.A.) At least Roth and the Van Halen boys patched things up SO FAR.

I think that's the $50-million-dollar variable.

For sure that is the 1st factor. Let's see if it's enough, with Sammy Hagar it wasn't enough (we all know that for 2004 tour cash was the only factor, being the Anthony dispute already started and the Sammy slap-in-the-face started back in 1996).
We all know the bros ain't fair for singers treatment. And not only for singers. We all know Roth believes he's a superstar. But he changed a bit during the years, for better (the medicine course, the radio shows, ecc.). I , for one, hope they can carry on. I wasn't interested at all in another Van Hagar show, nor a 4th singer, I would have run to see them only with Roth at the helm. And I am happy as they are now. :)

If you will remember, before the Sam & Dave tour both Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth were posing for photo opps and doing press releases with pics of them shaking hands and being all buddy-buddy. As soon as the tour started, that all changed. Dave wouldn't answer the door to his dressing room when Sammy would knock, and Dave started mocking Sammy. The two became enemies for the duration of the tour.

Right now, everything looks great for Van Halen. But what will happen once the tour starts?

That's cuz Dave is an asshole and it was a one-shot tour. He knows he can't pull that shit with Eddie if he wants to stay in the band.

That tour was all about competition between Dave and Sam. Dave never liked Sam for some reason. Even in the early VH days Dave always talked shit about Sam way before Dave left VH.

Makes sense. As long as they make it to Saint Louis in one piece, I'll be happy.

Killer version of "Everybody Wants Some." Wolfie does a fine job on both bass and backing vocals.
