The attention given to the guy on this board and the Bash Forum borders on obsessive compulsive and plays right into his scheme of things.

You couldn't be more wrong. There is something seriously wrong with the guy and it almost borders on stalking if it isn't really. I would not be seriously surprised to learn that Reardon came after someone on here.

Dave is right. This is one reason why I am not going to South Bend. This guy could easily have a scope setup on his rifle in the back of his Pacer.

I'm talking about comments - not actions. His comments are heard only when they're responded to. Get it?

I don't know if he's psychotic or not. I don't know what he's capable of if anything. Ultimately, it really doesn't matter. I'm simply saying that responding to him only serves to validate his words and his existence. Personally, I'm more concerned and troubled by the fact that he's a constant topic for discussion!

I think it's reasonable to say that the consensus is that he's a problemed individual. If that's the case then isn't it best to leave it at that? What exactly is there to be gained by trying to communicate with him in any way, shape or form? Why are people so compelled to take his bait?

One thing I'm sure of - he must be just LOVING all of this attention.
