Please send your prayers out to my family and especially my little daughter who is too young to know what is going on. Buzzy was injured by accident by my wife and she is just sick about it. I'm really not sure how she's ever going to explain to my daughter that her pet fly is dead.

We need to stop the mass slaughter of these innocent creatures. What if some janitor goes bezerk in a school cafeteria and swats 20 or 30 flies?
At the very least fly swatters should be licensed, and a mandatory 30 day waiting period enforced.
Unfortunately our fly swater did not have a lock on it, and my wife wasn't sufficiently trained.
Poor Buzzy paid the ultimate price for our carelessness.

Even though Buzzy was only here for short time, I think we ALL know Buzzy in our own way. Friend, companion, turd muncher. It seems like only yesterday he was just a maggot pupae on a dog turd in the backyard, and then almost like a miracle he flew into our lives through an open bedroom window. I can still see him looking at me with those 8000 eyes, the way his little tongue flicked my arm. And then just as fast as Buzzy flew into our lives, he was gone. A life extinguished with the flick of a wrist. I miss you Buzzy and will think of you fondly each day as my dog snaps out a fresh pile of shit on the new morning dew covered lawn.

OMG! You had me so going! I was this close to sending you my heartfelt condolences!
This board is hysterical and much cheaper than a Friday night comedy club!

Algebra, I sucked at it. What does X equal? It's a damn letter in the alphabet, what the hell could it equal? I never got it. I get it now, but I couldn't wrap my mind around the idea then. I was a bad student.

me too!! my worst understanding of all had to do with Geometry.. postulates and theorms,, it was all guess work for me.. im with Peggy Sue... "i know for a FACT that this is not going to do me any good in life!"

Me too, there's a lot of Algebraic math in Geometry. I've never, not once, to this day had any use for any of it. I'm a baggage handler, if I had got it, maybe I would have been something more. I know city codes though.
